I just bought the SmallRig cage, wrist strap and bag capture clip that you mentioned in your video. And some screen protectors to protect that from scratches. I live in Australia and I'm heading to America in July to travel around the western states and want to be as ready as I can be as a newbie photographer to capture landscape and wildlife photos 😃 and I subbed to your channel 🙂

WOW, just sold all of my Canon gear! EOS R, R6 & M50!! I’ve since purchased the Sony A74 & was looking to purchase a ZV-E10 for walk around vlogging. My concern was I had the perfect setup for my M50 and wasn’t sure I’d find it for this camera. Boy you nailed all the accessories I was looking for! Thanks & I just subscribed for more content!!! Nice video, thanks. And hey, folks, make sure you get the upgraded cage! The first-generation cage interfered with the hot shoe and the ability to use some accessories, and it was a deal-breaker for many of us. I basically threw mine away and upgraded.

I want this cage! Also, thanks for the help. Really appreciate your take. I work as a designer and I’m desperately trying to move our work from phones to something like the ZVE-10 or the Alpha 6700. There’s SO much to sift through out there though. This made my decision-making so much easier.

Excellent review, thank you! I'm looking for a vlogging camera for my daughter's business and I think the Sony ZV-E10 is the best option out there. I've been a Canon shooter for 45 years and as much as I hate to step away from Canon, they just aren't delivering the goods in this area. Canon also lacks 3rd party lens availability, especially for APS-C cameras.

Really great video, very informative and in-depth. Know it's years later, but curious if this is still the best camera for this price range? Heading to Mt. Kilimanjaro and a short safari in a couple months and looking for something other than a GoPro. Love that the video quality/shooting is good on this camera, which can then be used on a small KZfaq channel.

Could you explain why you use both the Rode Go II & the DJI wireless mic? ( If you already spent the money on the DJI lavs, where would you find the Rode useful? )

Great video, I took a lot from here. However I have a question. You recommend the small rig case, which I really like, and also the DJI wireless kit. You even say, that you use them together a lot. But when you have the cage installed the DJI receiver unit can't be mounted into the cameras hot shoe anymore, because the case does not allow enough space for the unit to sit. If you then try to mount the dji unit to the hot shoe cut out in the small rig cage it will just fall out, because these cut outs are designed for stuff that can be tightened by a screw, which the dji unit cannot. Can you please explain and possibly show how you use those two together? I bought the items (not just) because you recommended them and now they don'T work together, which is frustrating to say the least. Thanks for you help!

Hi Kyle! Thank you for your great videos! They are really appreciated! I have a quick question. In a previous video you mentions the Sigma 16mm Lenes for the camera. What would you recommend for mostly studio type recordings? I guess the Sigma 16mm with the higher aperture?

The sigma 16 is what I primarily used as a desk “talking head” lens. It’s wide enough to get what you want in the frame and you can bring the camera closer to you so you can get better audio
