Kylie was in her early 30s when this came out because in 2005 whilst on her showgirl tour she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer at 35 years old so she was quite young. This song was originally intended for Britney Spears and Toxic was intended for Kylie so thank god they swapped and the choreography was by the son of the late 1940s film star Mickey Rooney Michael Rooney who also did her showgirl tour and another music video Slow. To America she is the Princess of Pop but to the rest of the world she is known as The Goddess of Pop.

I was like 3 years old, and i can literally remember hearing lalala as though i was back in 2001. Like i never actually forgot about this song. I was reintroduced to this song only when I decided to randomly search up Love At first Sight and i kinda hopped on the Kylie train after that.

It is so great to see you explore her work in real time! This is really long, so I understand you may not care to read all that, but I hope you'd like some of the suggestions that follow... Either way, you are wonderful and I enjoy your videos, take care! - If you want a bit of whiplash reaction, do her mid-90s stuff, like Confide In Me (for many her best/most special track), Put Yourself In My Place (a ballad), or her duet with Nick Cave, Where The Wild Roses Grow (a...mood piece, I'd call it). That era also produced Did It Again, Some Kind of Bliss, and Breathe. All very different sounds and generally stunning visuals (Breathe is not as special visually but the rest...you'll see). Less of a departure from what you've heard, Slow from 2003 is still really different from her other stuff. Head was the lead single from her Fever album, and Slow was the lead single from the follow-up, Body Language, which also included Chocolate that you already reacted to. Slow is also one of her own personal favorites along with Love At First Sight, I think. Love at First Sight is from Fever and it was another pretty big hit! Perhaps you'd be interested in her concert stream next weekend? It is pre-recorded and it will broadcast at specific times and you can choose one that works for you. It requires buying a ticket, but, really, I cannot recommend watching her live shows enough.
