Kylie Minogue has finally released her newest album DISCO and I'm ready to finally listen to a full body of work from her. I honestly was not ready for how much I would be dancing to this album, my neck was so sore while I was editing and even uploading this video. Kylie Minogue is that girl and I need America to wake up already and stan greatness!

The first Kylie album I ever purchased is "Body Language", with the bonus tracks & DVD shortly after "Slow" became a hit! Since "Ultimate Kylie", I have purchased all her albums, mostly deluxe editions, "Disco" is no exception. I love the album. To me, the album has areas of the emotional undertone of longing and at times bittersweet yet hopeful nuances. Many Disco genre songs have this quality. I picked up on it immediately recognizing how she approaches and interprets various lyrical content throughout all her albums. I strongly recommend delving into Kylie's albums. Listening to her music in chronological order beginning with "Kylie" and "Enjoy Yourself" because it makes it much easier to follow her career evolution. Ironically, the only two songs I was not crazy about at first were "Celebrate You" and "Hey Lonely." I have warmed up to them since then. My favourite songs after the first play are "Magic", "Miss A Thing", "Real Groove", "Last Chance", "Supernova", "Fine Wine" and "Spotlight." Since then, I enjoy all the songs more. Yes, mainstream wise in the States, Disco went up to 1982 before metaphorizing into many different styles. "Studio 54" was open from 1977 to February 4, 1980.

I'm super excited to hear more of her albums, it will be fun going through some of her old stuff. I'm planning on listening to the best of her fifteen albums only. I've non stop been listening to this album and I love all the songs really except for Say Something and Unstoppable. They are nice but I still can't get into them fully.

@@PhysicalMediawithCharles Very cool. The only one of her albums that comes closest to "Disco" overall is "Aphrodite." Most of the others are slightly different with a few being drastically different albums.

Say Something takes a FEW listens haha.... you can appreciate it better in the album opposed to on it's own. It's a good song with a sweet message just a but unusual

Please Charles, PPLLEEEAASSEEE give Say Something a few more listens. I loved it on first listen but others need a few spins. Check the Infinite Disco version with the House Gospel Choir, it’s insanely good. Keeping fingers crossed you can warm up to it

I’ve actually listened to the Infinite Disco version yesterday and it is better than the studio version, yet I’m still lukewarm on the song 😅. I think the song is nice, but it’s still not a favorite. Who knows maybe over time I’ll like it more, you know what song from the album grew on me? Miss a Thing, now that’s a song that really clicked with me after a few more listens 😂
