X 2008 is was a masterpiece. Kylie tours are incomparable You need to feel what she brings and feel her fans respond inperson. ♥️

The stage for that show was fantastic. Definitely one of Kylie's best tours (along with the legendary Aphrodite: Les Folies).

Definitely a favourite song off her tenth album X. I’ve read that the skull represents her recovery from breast cancer. Her costume for this song and this tour were designed by Jean Paul Gaultier who did the famous cone bra for Madonna. The X album is full of synths and electro-pop like in Like A Drug, In My Arms and Wow with some ballads in between called No More Rain and Cosmic. Also, your mention of Madonna springs to mind that she was a fan of Kylie’s song Speakerphone which is from the X album.

I read that this section was an ode to her defeating cancer. Presented so beautifully. This was the early days of LED and they really made use of the technology really well. I absolutely love the echo effects on the vocals and wish the album version had it as well.

I was on that tour, I actually liked the SHOWGIRL tour muuuuch better, was so much more streamlined for me. This song here was however a huge thing and the high point for me on this tour :)... I would however say, that Kylie tours in no way comes close to Mylene Farmers tours, soooooo much more detail, so much more stage,design, sooo much more effects :)...

I´m so so sooo grateful to have watched this live, epic performances of Slow and especially Come Into My World, absolutely stellar!! X-tour for me is definitely second right after Aphrodite Les Folies! Like Like a Drug and Closer are just insane visual and musical, it gets you n that high you expect from trippin'. Already going nuts to see her on the Tension Tour!!!

Kylie's X2008 tour is really awesome! I love it its dance and songs! I saw it in Hong Kong but without those big props, just songs and dances, simpler set up. So I only watched its full version in DVD later.

The song was by the way a huuuuuuge shoutout and homage to VISAGEs FADE TO GREY, just like PET SHOP BOYS did a few years later with their fabolous FLOURESCENT. For me as a big fan of FADE TO GREY I celebrate each of these great homages by both Kylie and the Pet Shop Boys :)
