Lyrics
Dance
Get that body up on the catwalk
Can’t sleep through your life like a lap dog
Let’s show the world what we got
Don’t wanna take it slow
I wanna be your girl
So get that body up on the dance floor
Drive me wild oh just make me want more
With you I can’t get enough
Don’t wanna take it slow
I wanna lose control
Run away run away run away
with me tonight
Come dance for me I’ll fall at your feet
Coz I don’t wanna fight what feels right
Baby I baby I just don’t wanna miss a thing
Don’t wanna miss a thing
Come along come along come along and don’t ask why
Oh can you fall for me
Kiss me hard baby
Coz I don’t wanna fight what’s inside
Baby I baby I just don’t wanna miss a
thing
Don’t wanna miss a thing
Take the world away from my shoulder
Hold me tight the nights they get colder
All of my secrets are out
Tell me you won’t think twice
Already rolled the dice
Take that chance and follow your
heartbeat
Dance dance dance like no-one is
watching
Deepest emotions run wild
Don’t wanna live a lie
I want you and I
Get up get up
Tell me you feel it
Get up get up
Baby I need it
Get up get up I
Get up get up I
I don’t wanna miss a thing
I don’t wanna miss a thing

Hello Teamogaga! I hope your Christmas was good. Take A Look At Donna Summer's Body of Work from the 70s and early 80s and you'll understand where 'BitterSweet Anthems' came from and what Kylie is trying to do. As indeed Donna Summer is her idol and she pays tribute to her all the time. For instance when the Donna Summer "BAD GIRLS" Album was released in 1979, Kylie was only 11 and she said in an interview in London recently that she listened (at the tender age) to the 'Bad Girls' Album to death. Teamogaga, please listen to the following below by Donna Summer and you'll be blown away (Just a few of her Albums/CDs): - This is what Kylie is trying to copy!! 1. Love To Love You Baby (1975) 2. A Love Trilogy (1976) 3. Four Seasons Of Love (1976) 4. I Remember Yesterday (1977) 5. Once Upon A Time (1977) 6. Live and More (1978) 7. With Your Love (1978) 8. Never Lose Your Sense of Humour (1978) 9. Bad Girls (1979) 10. No More Tears (Enough Is Enough) (1979). Have a peaceful Festive Season and a better 2021

Kylie was disco era. Dua Lipa can do a great attempt from what she’s heard as a kid, but kylie LIVED it, and yes, there is something missing from this generation who is trying to go back and recreate that disco genre, not sure exactly what it is.. and not saying they don’t do it well, but there’s something about this Kylie album that really just takes you back in time and sounds that authentic ‘disco’, back in the day that people knew. It’s not what you’d expect to hear again amongst the style of music as we’re familiar with today, but that’s the beauty of art, everyone will have their own interoperation of style and whatnot. That’s what makes an artist an artist. How about we appreciate these artists for what they produce and stop comparing everyone who’s simply just trying to do something they and others enjoy. Art is individual for a reason, some will appreciate it more than others, and that’s okay!

BEST SONG ON DISCO BY FAR. The fact that of all the non-singles' audio tracks this has the most views (including Real Groove which is now a single) already means THIS SHOULD BE A SINGLE. Most sophisticated melody, and the only one that differs from the pack by effectively conveying a sense of uncertainty and desperation rather than just straight up partying. It's the classiest and sexiest track on the album. Best structure melodically - lovely descending notes on the verses, a subtler chorus that doesn't announce itself as much as the others, perfectly breathy cooing all throughout, and it has the retro-smooth feel of classic 70's disco as opposed to the more jagged and bombastic nu-disco production of everything else on the album. If there's one song here that would age the best, it's this simply because of its timelessness. It sounds expensive and the singing is reminiscent of the Body Language era while the production is slick enough to make it fit within Fever.

There's a melancholy to this in 2020, the slight sadness to the strings and desperation to the vocals. Like it was beamed in from everyone's last party before lockdowns across the world. Reminding us of how much we have missed this year. A really great pop song.

This song can't be more Kylie Minogue-esque. Her unique vocals match with that classic early 2000's disco groove which hints some resemblance with the late 70's era's melodies. Absolutely magnificent piece of music, the best track from her new album, perhaps whole career.

Hi M RAY C, hope all's well and your Christmas was satisfactory! M RAY C, please listen to the following below by Donna Summer and you'll be blown away (Just a few of her Albums/CDs): - 1. @@victoriassme ... i’m sorry, but no. The disco era began clearly in 1972. Those Philadelphia danceable soul records are all Disco. Harold Melvin, The Love I Lost, 1973...Win, Place or Show, The Intruders 1972, Love Train, The O’Jays, 1972, Loves Theme, Barry White, 1973... KC and the Sunshine band, Bee Gees, The First Choice, MFSB, Salsoul...all disco 1972-1976. After Saturday night fever it peaked (in a much cheesier version) and crashed in pop culture in late 79... yes, disco existed afterwards as”Post Disco”... then house, etc..... sorry, but I am a disco connoisseur…lol 😀

@@rianakanthi6752 Grammy depends on where Kylie's Music stands and measures up against all the Great Artists now and in the past. You see Kylie is not doing anything original. Her Music style has already been covered in the 70s where it all started by Donna Summer. And the USA have already got Artists who have better music with House and Disco origins. They also have Donna Summer's music which is still the Best in the 'DISCO' Era (She's The Queen of DISCO)

@@kojoharrison630 hello😊hmm how about 2021 Grammy? wdyt? we no longer truly made any new music I guess since 2010.. just recycle and add electronic touch.. so we need to check again Grammy standard for pop atleast 5 years back. But to my ears musically (chords tune etc) Kylie and maybe Rina Sawayama should be nominated(her music recycles old vibes too).. most of ‘new’ music now emphasize aesthetic and production but lack honesty, musicality and soul. Me personally likes to listen to rich but easy digested music😁
