Do you still prefer the Kynshot buffer?

I'd stay away from it. It does reduce felt recoil but I wouldnt buy it again. I will not use it in Sub zero temperatures . I'll put it in my AR for shooting in the summer at some gongs. But when Im coyote hunting in the winter or when SHTF, i'm putting my H buffer back in. I don't trust it when its cold out after a little experimenting with a dirty ass short-stroke gas piston AR15 in sub zero temps. Stick with the H buffer.

I have the same buffer and a jp extra power buffer spring. Unfortunately havent shot it and can't shoot until I get back home in a few months. do you think my setup would cause feeding issues? shortstroke? or bolt not to lock open on last round?

Did the Kynshot buffer have any mitigating effects on recoil spring noise?

Not really. The JP silent capture takes care of that. This is more for recoil in piston guns or sbr DI guns.

Not to be an @ hole... but your test is bogus. You don't shoot both in anywhere near the same posture. On the second run.. you seem to remember to lean into it.

I believe you should replace your buffer on a AR15 as necessary. None of the "wanna be's" are snipers or really into competitive shooting out there, I think I'll keep my money where in my wallet.
