OSU. I'm so jealous, hope those two will come to Port saint Lucie FL and host a Kyokushin seminar, that would be sweet!

OSU! The style is still Kyokushinkai. There are just several political organizations now since Sosai passed away thats all.

Kyokushin. Another style that attempts to be "practical" because they have more contact. Which is a joke. Most guys are NOT in any condition for contact. Even light contact. As they haven't gone though the training full-contact fighters go through. Till they do Karate guys under the false belief they are "toughening themselves" are playing a dangerous game. Probably get hurt more often than full-contact fighters. If only for exercise....fine. But don't expect anything more out of traditional martial arts. :) it's for exercise and sport (e.g. TKD and Judo).

Yeah man, Andy Hug was just an awful fighter right? Absolutely awful... I mean 37 wins and 9 losses is just a shit record. Had he done MMA or Muay Thai, it would be like 500000000000-0. I'm being so 10000000% super serious right now, not even kidding. Okay in all seriousness, Kyokushin guys DO go through fight training dumb ass. You've never stepped foot in any knockdown style dojo. So what the hell do you know. Not to mention Judd Reid, is a fucking tank, AND he completed the 100 man Kumite. The 100 man Kumite is a sparring marathon that last a good three hours. He is absolutely a fighter, and any serious Knockdown style guy is to.
@StrumVogel5 жыл бұрын
Yeah, no. I’ve put down 180lbs guys with a single Gedan Mawashi-Geri. Even as a 5 year BJJ practitioner, I still have respect for kyokushin. These guys do one thing exceptionally well, smash through everything.

tckosc123 - there’s at least one like him in every comment section. They are girly men that have never trained in anything or been in any fights ever, but act like they know it all. Just trolls!
