I was curios about the tracks, thanks for sharing the video. I enjoy owning the same type Mini z 4x4 Toyoto, just with the grey paintjob. The limitations of this thing are a result of the construction, size, (low) weight and grip. For the life of me I cannot see don't any need to put another motor in or run this on LiPos. If you get the Kyosho Mini z 4x4 to drive it (not for displaying) there is no need to upgrade anything. It will never do something consideribly better than the out-of-the-box version. The one thing I can think of are the adapters that allow you to chose from a variety of wheels with different tire profiles.

I agree out of the box. The performance on them is on point.! But if you check out a couple of our other videos with some free mods, you can make them much better by just bringing the centre of gravity down just a little bit

Outside snow is there a terrain which tracks ever out perform good tires? I have yet to see it but figured I'd ask anyway.

Sand for sure but mud is still up in the air as it clogs up the drives on all Rc tracks so far. Full size they’re great until they’re not lol. Worst stuck you’ll ever have to deal with if you experience a stuck track lol. No fun!

@@ProNoobRC yup, reinventing the wheel but making it 100x more complicated. Ive yet to see tracks in sand in 1:1 besides tanks and rear tracked vehicals but those vary greatly from a 4 track system.

The manual says not to mount the rubber like that Leave a space in between for better grip

Lol if you want to actually be proper about it, the original Japanese way to pronounce it is actually 2 Kanji syllables, kyo-sho. Not Key-Osho
