They were purchased from Toys R Us over 8 years ago. They are Ten Eighty Skate Ramps, the Kryptonics Edition. Came with the two ramps and a table top. I don't think you will be able to find it new but it may be available on the secondary markets.

That looks sick. I'm a sucker for Rally-type RC cars. I only own 1 Kyosho, it's the USA 1 Monster Truck. I have the HPI Racing WR8 Nitro 3.0 2001 WRC Subaru 1/8 4WD rally car. It is so much fun to drive and a mouthful to say. 😂

I got the older Subaru then the Rally conversion kit was released. Got a Fazer chassis and the Rally kit so I now have a tarmac and dirt car and they are both so sweet to drive. My street is quiet so I often swap on drift tires and head out front for some fun...

Kyosho nailed this body 🤩🤩 the brushless Challenger is so good there is no need for brushed. Come on Kyosho!

@GreatLakesRC Hey Aaron! You know I don't mind the brushed system. It's like when folks like the brushed mad Van more than the brushless, also the durability. I want to see with all the suspension differences how it's going to perform with the brushed setup. You know, never ruling out brushless though😊

I like how it's more modified for rally than the TT02 rally versions were. It's a little too similar (because of the livery) to my '99 Impreza from Tamiya so I'll be waiting for another body option or a kit like the base Fazer

This is my first fazer. I’m loving it. The Bugeye is beautiful and the rally suspension is dreamy. Was planning on getting the LC racing chassis next. I would love a 1/10 rally shootout.

You should really do a 1/10th comparison test. But I think you're missing the two Tamiya chassis to compare these with, the XV01 and XV02 (PRO, not the RS). I own a few of both with different specs as well as the LC Racing, but the kit version, rather than the roller (PTG2R, which comes wirh a few upgrades). I personally prefer the LC Racing above them all, but I'm very intrigued by the Kyosho. It looks amazing, both suspension wise as well as the body. The Fazer is a solid platform. So, curious to see how it drives in comparison with the others.

I got one of these about a month ago. I've been running mine pretty hard in the yard and on the street. I've only had a couple of minor issues. First, the front wheels on mine scrubbed on the back of the wheel wells - no big deal, just opened them up a little more with some lexan scissors. The other issue is that when I put the smaller wheel hexes in, they tend to bind the diff. Not sure why - I'm using the shorter screws that were provided. It comes with the soft shock springs, I may go to the medium with a little heavier shock oil (not sure what it came with), just because I run it on hard-packed dirt and gravel mostly.

@mikeruhl Nice! I would suggest take off the calipers. If you are using none stock tires that will happen. I'm only running none stock tires on one of my Fazer's, the Charger and that worked for me when it was binding.

@@ReadySetRC Yeah I had the same thought. I took off the calipers, used the stock wheels and it still bound up the diff. Not a big deal. Thinking about some adjustable offset wheels as an option to run non-stock tires. Fun stuff. Appreciate the video.

Another thing I may try is converting the FZ02-R to the long chassis version and put the 66 'Fleetside body on it. Looks like all that's needed is the long chassis and drive shaft.

Looks nice a nice kit! I go to willis hobbies sometimes. I've bought paint and train items there. I thought they were heavy on arrma, Traxxas and Losis, i didn't see any kyosho. I'll have to pop in again

That is a nice looking Fazer02. The body is so realistic, 90% of my RC are bashers on that could be a track, two on road, now watching your shoot-out series and seeing your Rally car collection I really am looking at the Rally cars. Would be awesome rip it around the corners on the track. So question for you. If you was going to give advise to a friend on one 8th scale and one 10th scale what would you recommend? @sparetimerc Man that list is really getting long😆 Because of the rough areas I run, the bigger cars tend to do better. I will say the smaller ones are super scale but at the end of the day they are not shelf queens so I will always lean to the larger cars.

+1 for the 1/10 rally shoot out although I must say that you should consider getting a Tamiya xv-01 or xv-02 in there. The xv is a brilliant rally chassis. Are you going to get the new Traxxas Rally? Mine is coming tomorrow and I am buzzing 😅

@ianrichardson2691 I'm really trying to curb my additions to the collection this year😊 Plus I have a few kit's to build one of them being a Tamiya, so unfortunate it won't make the short list. As for the Traxxas Rally, I'm waiting to see if they drop a new shell. Short of the clipless system and the HD parts, I have a more hopped up Traxxas Rally than the new VXL. But I do love it(the new one)!

I got the Buick riviera I raised it up using the different mountings available and used the wheels and tires from the hbx Bomber truck that came out not to long ago no issues at all and I put the kyosho tires on the bomber cause why not. I’ll probably get this Subaru so I can keep the Buick on road. Oh I even got plastic drift wheels for the Buick that’s fun to see a classic car drift ( carefully of course”) kyosho is just awesome in everything they do. I wanna try the supercharged ones but I’d hate to flip it at top speed and doing a body swap just would kill the look imo. Rock on 🤘🏼

I really love this kit but , if u really want a rally chassis, just go for the xv01. It is a nice kyosho but , comparet to the tamiya, has just longer shocks amd higher shock towers but not adjustability whatsoever

@enricomiceli5517 Problem with most you are going to lose them with an RTR. I've built my fair share of Tamiya's it's how I started off 20+ years ago. Also bad content creator, this has adjustability with the shock mounts and a few hop ups that give you more adjustments.

The only thing that sucks about this car is the wheelbase. It’s 260mm when most other 1/10 TCs are around 257. Dosnt sound like much but in actuality it really limits the bodies you can fit, if you want it to be right, as I do. I like the platform so much, way higher quality than a Tamiya IMO. so I modified the wheelbase. Trimmed some of the rear lower a arm mount and some of the top arm to move the rear wheels up 3-4mm. I just used 3mm washers to make up the space. Now I can fit basically any 1/10 body without issue, and if I wanna use the cool body it comes with (and I won’t cause it’s so nice) then I can simply move the washers to the front and re extend the wheelbase to stock. One thing to note is moving the WB up you will have to screw through the rear little lip bumper with the heads facing in, that way your rear hinge pins still have something to hit and won’t slide out. Love the car in every way, just wish it was 3mm shorter for body mods.

@derekc6425 Thanks man! I strongly would not recommend it. It was suppose to be 4 white and 4 red. I got 5 white and 3 red. I've purchased them before, they're off Amazon, Sharegoo, they are 5mm LED's but they are not a direct fit. I would not suggest them at all. I've used RC-Lighthouse in the past. They will customize for you too. They are off FB. When I replace these lights that's where I'm going.

These are shelf queens to compete in the Tamiya market. I just can't bring myself to invest in anything brushed, this bad boy would be sitting pretty right on my desk shelf to be stared at and showed off.

What I’m the hell are you talking about. There were fast brushed RC cars long before brushless was ever invented. These cars are made to be driven. Kyosho doesn’t make toys. Tamiya is not if the level that Kyosho is at. Ever heard of the Kyosho Inferno? 90% of RC cars today are based on the designs of the original Kyosho Burns and Infernos.

All of the rally rc cars suffer from one thing: ground clearance and suspension work. Tamiya, Kyosho, every single rally/rx rc car, ground cleance SUCKS.
