I just got a vintage 90s Kyosho USA-1 in pristine condition and I had to remember that the older ones are much more sluggish and fragile. Starts up like it’s brand new though that’s for sure.

Kyosho has made some crazy RC vehicles. The Blizzard is really cool too. MiniZ created a complete market on its own. Nitro mini inferno is amazing too, and kind of did the same thing. They see or think of something cool, and they build it. These days they don't seem that creative anymore, but they still definitely build quality cars. I was looking at some of their on road cars the other day, (on the fazer chassis) the shells looked absolutely beautiful, hands down the most detailed i have seen. They basically looked like a scale model.

I agree man, this is a far more stable RC compared to the motorcycles. Seems the goal of those motorcycles is just to sell you spare parts and basic upgrades you don't need. But they sure do look cool still.

What’s up my dude, happy to see you here on this early Saturday morning, well, at least it’s early morning here in NYC. I am on my way to a hobby store, RC day event and going to take my most reliable Nitro, which is the green Tmaxx this Tmaxx has absolutely 0% psycho and never copies. Anybody when they buy things on eBay and then claim to try to make up while stealing their RC auctions right under them you know what I’m saying. Lol.

This one needs a little bit of work with the carb and that linkage but hopefully I will be able to make this a runner. By the way, this one is directly from a fellow buddy from the NitroGang, Joe Hutchinson, it used to belong to him.

Hey man, yes, you are correct these were never fast and they were also never perfect. Kyosho is just a brand that produces the most realistic designs and sometimes they are very functional and other times they are very gimmicky. At the very least this is still a very cool, rare, collectible, model, and I will be running it soon once repairs are done.

I have what i believe to be a GIO team racing monster truck chain drive it runs great lots of fun but i dont see much info on it on-line was hoping someone on here might know something about this truck and also where i can purchase spur gear or parts thank you.

hey buddy! I just looked it up. It appears similar to the Kyosho USA-1 or Kyosho giga Crusher trucks. In terms of spur gears you will likely never find a new part for that model truck, it's old, and unknown. I'd recommend trial and error fitting of an HPI savage spur, some of the 1/8 truck gears are very similar to begin with.

Hey man, thanks for checking out this video. Just to let you know the HPI Savage was available with the quad body. The chassis was still exactly the same. It was just a unique quad body with a rider on top. Unlike this Kyosho, it literally was not in any way different than the regular Savage normally available to everybody.

I have a HPI Savage with a red quad body and stunt Steve rider, it has extended chassis plates of unknown origin, an Thunder Tiger 8cc helicopter nitro engine along with two speed along with reverse, wheelie bar. Goes like a bat out of hell, one draw back unable to get the wheels off and the tyres have perished so it is now a shelf queen along with my Venom 1/4 scale MotoX bike with mechanical gyro. and some gas models MCD Chevy Trophy Truck, FG Marder, and TRAXXAS Monster Gas Buggy rhat needs so many parts and have been looking for years for another to build one good one hmm or maybe sell it

I had a few off these the gp and ep version they where not rare @ all back in the day , you find these easy on 2 hand sites and ebay the kyosho yamaha yz 250 gp now that is rare not this
