I found a huge bag of Kyosho Raider parts on Tony’s Tamiya Parts. The last thing I needed was a whole bunch of parts as I have loads already but in this bag was a brand new Kyosho Raider differential which are very hard to find these days.
So here is that bag of parts and a little chat about what is happening to these next!!

Wow what a great haul of parts Craig! Love the tyres, as you said it's so cool to have "real" tyre manufacturer's logos on the sidewalls! And a new chassis and gear set - Kyosho gold right there in your hands mate! Have a smashing weekend! 😎🙌🏼👍🏼

Hey Mark, the old tyres are cool and the diff was an absolute score to be honest! I have enough in the box to keep these Raiders raiding for some time!!

I only really do it for the Raider but I am sure when I get a breakdown it will happen on the other models too! Keeps my Raider rocking!

Great haul Craig! A few more bits and pieces and you part together a brand new one! LOL! It is always nice to know you have spares on hand just in case! With these old ones you are always possible on small thing from something breaking. That said the plastics they made these out of seem to be superior stuff and lasts forever!

Hey Addam, the Kyosho ones are epic! Not sure what they did back in the day but they don’t seem anywhere near as fragile as the Tamiya ones. The diff for this Raider was a real score! I managed to grab another last week too 😁

Cheers Pete. The Diff is so hard to track down and I happened to find another the other week!! I should be able to keep my Raiders flying about the track for a few years!

Wow that's quite the haul of vintage Kyosho goodies. It's rare to see tires in blister packaging like that, how cool!? - And those 90's decals? SO Good!!!

Hey Fil, the decals are super cool! I wasn’t in it for the tyres but they are brilliant aren’t they. My Raiders are set for many years of long service thanks to this box of goodness!!

Great find mate! Love the Raider man. You can never have too many spares for your favourite vintage cars..... pick them up when you can just in case. The reassurance they bring enables a lifetime of happy running of these classic cars. Yep, Kyosho plastics were/still are far superior to Tamiyas! Handy having those spare gearbox parts, as I've heard this is a weak spot on this model. Ha, by the tone of your voice I assume you're not impressed with the uncut stickers. Looking forward to future Raider content Craig...... and if we do see a re issue, I will be all over it! 👍 👍 👍

Kyosho plastics are brilliant and I am pleased that for the most part the Raider is solid. The diff however seemed to be a bit of a problem but if you maintain her proper I am sure there will be no issues. I can’t wait to build my ARR later this year as I have something very special to go on it which will set it apart from all the other Raiders!

Very, very nice! I got a box full of Blitzer parts of fleabay one day that built close to 3 full kits. You've got quite the score.

@lo2713 there are options but they are mods and nothing is perfect. Someone needs to 3d print something

Nice haul! The pot metal "sun gears" in the diff tend to crack....wondering if that's what's wrong with your diff.

Good to know Arky! I have a video on the repairs next week. Turns out the diff wasn’t seated right and the wheels weren’t tightened enough! Simple fixes and she is ready to rock
