The fit on the Bulls isn't nearly as bad as the Lakers cuz Lebron & AD both can't really shoot but Lavine & Vuc can. It's only Demar but you can still win with 2 non shooters in the starting 5, look at Miami with Butler & Bam. I like the Nets fit too, they wanna be a playoff team & Russ showed in the Clippers series he can still raise a team's floor

The last thing the Clippers need is a smaller guard that doesn't play defense. They have way too many of those. Westbrook would be the best if he is willing to take a huge paycut.

@@WeMissDimebag Kawhi and PG don't put the same amount of effort on defense anymore, so they can't make up for a smaller guard getting bullied. In fact, if anything, the Clippers want a smaller defense load on them so they could generate more output for offense. Batum is getting up there in age and can't keep up with guards that well anymore (outside of maybe a mismatch from time to time). Covington is in Lue's dog house for some reason and he has lost lateral quickness needed to play defense against guards (again, outside of maybe a mismatch from time to time). Morris is slow and just isn't guarding anybody. Therefore, the wings cannot make up for guys like Bones and Powell. Bones is too skinny and will get absolutely bullied. Powell is a good defender for his size when he tries (which isn't always), but a bigger guard like Booker will easily have his way with him. Gordon will not get minutes because Bones, Mann, and Powell either have the ability to score better than he does or play defense better than him (plus, he can have defensive lapses some games). If Kyrie or Harden is moved here he will not get minutes at all. That leaves Terrance Mann, who is a great defender and will remain a great piece to have. The problem is Ty Lue doesn't see him like Lawrence Frank and Clippers fans see him and therefore is going to be relegated to coming off the bench. Also, one guy like this isn't ideal and having Westbrook if he is willing to lose out on money can remove that concern.

Heat are perfect for harden honestly besides his inability to play defense, James harden can just be there to help win regular season games and help jimmy conserve energy in the playoffs by taking the pressure of also facilitating the offense off of him, James would also be able to play the stay of basketball that he wants because jimmy and bam aren’t ball dominant players. And Miami clubs are just as good as Houston’s so he can maintain his off court lifestyle as well.

@@Joes35 How is it one-sided? PG is 33 years old, Kawhi Leonard is 31 years old, and already you should consider yourself very lucky to get 50 games out of them in a season. They're injury prone af and it isn't gonna get better with age. Mavs don't have an actual roster outside of Luka and Kyrie at the moment. If they trade for PG or Kawhi and one of them is injured the entire season is completely over for them, and given their injury history, there's a big probability of that happening. As a Mavs fan I don't want either of them, they're way too unreliable. Great players, but the best ability is availability, period. Most ideal person for the Mavs is someone like Siakam, who is also a two-way forward with handles but can actually stay on the court. Or if not, go after guys like Kuzma, Bruce Brown, Hachimura, in FA and build a front court that can space the floor and also play good defense and score in the interior - the team especially lacks the last 2 criteria rn

@@TrueGuardify you didn’t mention anything about the clippers having to acquire a 31 year old oft injured and unavailable kyrie Irving and then pay him a max deal for 3-4 years. Say what you will about PG and Kawhi, they aren’t distractions off the court and aren’t demanding long term contracts. They both have 2 years left. Not bad ideas for the mavs roster; will have to wait for FA but I don’t think it’s salvageable at this point. Mark Cuban has never been a good owner. They’ve made bad move after bad move since luka got there and wasn’t much better before that.

As a Milwaukee fan I don’t like this but what about a sign and trade Kyrie for Middleton? Middleton would be a great 2nd scorer for Luka and can handle at times, Kyrie would be the 4th quarter guy for Giannis. I’d say Milwaukee would add a couple of additions but I think it seemingly works for both but hate the locker room fit for the Bucks.
