This "dream in the forest" melds Barrios' interest in Paraguayan scenery and culture with his reverence of Chopin. A brief introduction redolent of nineteenth century salon music in Chopin style ushers in a long-lined, highly romantic melody entirely in tremolo over an accompaniment in the lower strings. Tremolo gives way to the guitar version of a portamento in the next section, as a variant of the melody is presented with stinging downslides on certain notes. The tremolo study returns after this, now with a somewhat more active accompaniment, and carries the piece to its tender, sentimental conclusion.

트레몰로가 전체적으로 고르게 이어지면서 음 하나하나를 그냥 버리지 않고 다 주워담아서 다시 만들어내는 솜씨, 음마다 긴장을 버리지 않고 이어가는 여유, 이런 것들이 다른 사람들의 연주와 확실히 차별이 있네요. 여러 사람들이 이 작품의 가장 좋은 연주라고 말하는 이유가 그런데 있는 것 같습니다.

40年前に憧れて弾いていたギターですが、今は全く弾かなくなってしまいました。そして先日、ギターも売ってしまいましたが、パク・キョヒさんのギターを聴いてあの頃を懐かし思い出しました。どうしてあの頃自分がギターにのめり込んでいたのかわかりました。心があの頃に戻りました。ありがとうございました。

악기를 팔아버리고 나면 그 어떤 걸 팔았을 때보다 허전함이 크더라고요... 몇년 전에 이사할 때 피아노를 팔았는데 그후 정말 뭔가 텅 빈 기분이 되어 허탈해졌던 기억이 있어요... 그래서 기타는 별것 아닌 몇 대가 있지만 버리거나 팔지 않고 있습니다. 비록 나이들어 눈도 어두워지고 악보도 보기 어려워져서 기타를 치고 연습하는 것도 뜸해졌지만, 앞으로도 기타만은 팔지 않으려고 합니다.

The first tremolo part make me almost cry. I share the same nostalgic feeling here in Korea, quite far away from Paraguay where you live. This is surprising, and is a power of this piece of art.

Although many guitarists have played A. Barrios' Un Sueno en la Floresta, Kyu Hee Park's performance is the best I've ever heard in my personal opinion. Berta Rojas' play is also very nice and highly recommended to enjoy this excellent piece of guitar music. Both performances are very touching and emotional, and bring about nostalgia.

She has no equals. The sound is always smooth, coordinated with lots of feeling. No choppiness or harsh sounds. Just perfection. I can't think of anyone past or present that has her chops and interpretative genius.

Como vc tocou maravilhosamente bem! Muitos outros tem tocado, mas ninguém tocou tão perfeito quanto a vc. Principalmente na parte de trêmulo, a maioria pecou até violonistas famosos, Parabéns minha conterrânea! Com certeza vc está se consagrando como violonista de primeira categoria.

I listen to this almost every day. It is perfection. This has to be God inspired. Just now when I listened to Kyuhee playing this piece I broke into tears. I know that I'm silly but I feel that I am listening to music straight from Heaven.

Kyuhee Park is the guitarist who is more able to get excited. His light touch and his technical perfection, combined with the felt interpretation of each piece, never cease to amaze me. I can listen to him for hours enchanted by the masterful sonority of his David Friederich.

Words to someone who complains about his or her finger length. Miss Park does not have long and big fingers her regular size guitar looks so much big with her . She overcame all the difficulties by practice and passion towards the art of music.
