Hello! The part where some classes that are supposed to be in English but are conducted in Korean, is in fact true. But this applies to most universities in Korea if not all. I have friends that complain about the same issue from other universities so it's not just Kyung Hee that's like that. At the end of the the day though this still is pretty subjective. It depends on your major, the amount of foreign students and your professor if the class that is supposed to be in English is conducted in Korean or English at the end of the day. I would say this is rather their education system's own problem that we or they might not have full control over but you can always voice out your opinion to your professors or the office if you ever encounter the same issue, and trust me, they will try their best to help you. But like I said it's even something the professors have no control over how the local students aren't used to English speaking classes. And they actually do care about international students and they take good care of us. Just make sure to make yourself known to them. What course are you planning to take?

@@eqaa.h no problem! some of the subjects are must take subjects and some of the subjects you can choose if you want to take it or not. it doesn't say there in that pdf but it's usually stated in detail in the education curriculum of your major. you can try looking for this usually at the kyung hee website of your major and you usually get a book for this when you enroll

It depends on your major & professor. majors like English departments and international relations have English language qualifications to enter so those kind of majors 100% use English for their classes. For my major, I have classes that are supposed to be conducted in English but the professor ended up doing it in Korean anyway because the majority are Koreans and some of them may find it "hard to understand" as one of my professors said. but our original textbooks are in English (the Korean ones are translated) and the professors use textbooks in English too. The class materials depends. Sometimes they're in English sometimes in Korean.

It would be difficult for students from non Korean language background. Do they teach in English at Sports Science Department of Kyung Hee University?
