The only thing I prefer, is the drum work ano the rated r deluxe with that surf, Hawaii 5 o, sound ads an awsome layer, but this is definitely better over all. With some great precaution its self.

you’re crazy. the ending of the studio version makes ‘born to hula’ what it is. this version is really cool, but by far not the best.

I've heard that both John and Josh sing on this track. If they did, that's really fucking awesome and a badass way to go.

I hear him best at the "You're the one" part. He's singing backup vocals. It's easier to spot him if you've heard his softer singing, like on Demon Cleaner. And also if you're listening with earphones.

Phenomenal. This hit me so hard with nostalgia. I have listened to QotSA albums over and over for close to 2 decades and this was like first discovering them back then. I somehow never have heard this song and damn is it good.

I just recently found out they made another version of this song for the Rated R 2010 Deluxe Edition. This version is better, but the other version is just awesome too.

Knowing the singers sense of humor and his lifestyle id say he came up with born to hula implying he’s all about being free and having fun shaking his shit staying loose and grinding it up at the same time
