Күн бұрынHere is my take on the KZ AZ09 Pro Bluetooth adapter which supports SBC, AAC, AptX and AptX Adaptive which was a nice surprise. It uses the QCC3040 chipset.
Extra button information - 3 clicks to the left earhook sets it to high gain and 3 clicks to the right earhook gets you high performance mode. Thanks for the heads up :)

I've been using this for a few months together with the KZ ZS10 Pro X. Over the years I had many different headphones, mostly high end, but I consider this to be the best investment in audio equipment I have ever made. It's basically perfect both in sound and usability/convenience.

is there any connection or durability issues about the device? Because I looked up and apparently some people had their device broken for unknown reason.. im about to pair the module with CCA CRA if its possible though

I realize "cons" is subjective, but what do expect for the case? The headphones are already oriented with left on the right and right on the left in order to make it as small of a footprint as possible while fitting the wireless adapters AND the IEMs. At some point, you have to think about what's reasonable. The only way to make it smaller would be to make the case fit the adapters without IEMs installed into them.

Nice to see that they support aptx Adaptive. It should include aptx Voice (which allows much higher bitrate also for transfering the mic data). This should improve voice quality a lot if a decent mic is used.

Thanks a lot. I am thinking about getting one, was looking at TRN BT3s Pro. Also have seen CCA BTX and a bunch, which was quite confusing because I couldn't get all the info I want. This review save me a lot of time and potential waste of money. 🙏

Just got mine in today, finished the mod (thanks ZEED), and wow these work flawlessly, I really wasn't expecting these to be this good. They fit so comfortably and my ES4s sound just as good hooked up to these as they do wired, just gotta test the battery life but I've already heard great things about the battery on these. No longer do I have to deal with my Jabras that now lose charge in less than an hour, I can use my ES4s wireless and if the battery runs out, just hook 'em back up to the wire. What makes this even better is that you can use the left and right separately, so for me who listens to podcasts with one earbud this is PERFECT since I can get essentially double the listening time! Couldn't do that on my Jabras since only the right bud works on its own, and the charge on those only lasted 3 hours. My IEMs + this TWS adapter cost 130$ less than the Jabras too, simply amazing.

I'm having a hard time with mine.. When I turned on to test it, one of the sides (the right one) seems to not be working. In the case, the module turns on the led in red (but a weak red) when I take it of from the case, it simply doesn't turn on. I have already tried so many times and so many different takes on the button of the module.. And yet I cannot make it work. There's nothing on the manual on this subject. Can you help me with this issue?

If you can't master reset it then it sounds like it could be faulty.

It was designed for KZ IEMs C type. Why would you give it a negative for not fitting other products ?

It should have been a two pin from the factory so it would have been more compatible.

@@tonygraydon To make this simple, they only designed it to fit KZ/CCA models but people modify them so it will work with all 2 pin models and KZ/CCA models. The modification basically makes it more compatible with more earphones.

I bought this as well as the QCC3040 Transmitter (same as one of your videos). And i couldn't make it to work in aptx adaptive mode, only aptx. In which the transmitter display 2 beep of green light every 5 seconds. Did you manage to make it work in adaptive mode? and how?

I did not try the the AZ09 Pro with the adapter unfortunately and I have already sent this back to the owner.

that's because this kz doesn't support aptx adaptive. their advertising is misleading . they say this has a technology to reduce latency adaptively !! (no aptx adaptive printed on the box either!!)

@@mamad504 ya, no adaptive written on the box. I cant get it to work on adaptive, so the latency is about 200ms now..read somewhere someone bought 2 at different times, one works in adaptive, the other dont.

Deffo good decision to send You my modded az09pro to try out. I got no clue why KZ limits it to C connector same az10 only C connector. B connector on first AZ09 i had was loose so sent it back before id lose my i3. Modded pro is more rigid than b option az09 haha. Forgot to mention there is loud/gain option not mentioned in manual if you press left button 3 times. I consider them Good price/product. And got same complains as you. Anyhow typing with my dq6s+az10 combo just before setting off for run hehe. One more thing i can say You can sleep with those adapters no problem did few nights :) AAAA and i recorded audio sample will leave u comment with it for others to hear. Recorded off my second phone when i called myself haha.

Is it easy to mod these for a B pin without damaging anything? Considering getting these for my KZ ES4's now that my Jabra's are at the end of their battery life.

Fairly new in the audio device world. I'm curious will my LG V40 sound any better than my S10 connected via bluetooth? I'm aware of the upgrade the LG has in the 3.5mm aux department, but bluetooth still puzzles me. Thanks in advance

Modern bluetooth I find these days is very good but a direct connection is still better.

Hello sir The AS09 PRO has a warning on the side of the box said that we should not use "fast charger" to charge the unit.. The seller told me the charge current should not exceed 1.5A... All my charger has output current at 2 amps.. Wich charging it only using 1.5 amps or below charger is total nonsense to me..😂 Even my 1 dolor cheap bike LED lights has current limit built in so there is no way to blow things up by input too much currents. So I don't know why KZ decided to put the "no fast charger allowed" warnnign on the package... I'm wondering how many amps does your charger output? And how's your unit holding up? Thanks

These were never mine and I mentioned it in the video. I keep in contact with the owner and they are still working fine but I don't know the amps of his charger. I guess they mention the amps to give themselves some legal protection in case they catch fire if charged with a high power plug.

WIsh there was an after-market silicone protective case for all of these KZ AZ09/AZ09Pro/AZ10 and CCA BTX cases. They all use the same case size/shape/dimensions...so one cover would work for all variants. I wonder how long this will take for the ChiFi manufacturers to fill this obvious market need?

I would send you stuff to review too BUT you have already reviewed about 99% of what I own lol The only thing I don't think you reviewed that I own is the 1More Triple Driver over ears with a 7N OCC balanced cable (the cable I brought myself) BUT AGAIN they don't sell them anymore so no point reviewing them.

@@alxdava2004 it's totally true that I bought the pro version. Many of us bought the same pro version at a cheaper price. Other bought it $4 cheaper ($17)than mine( because of the voucher. I didn't have any extra voucher so I bought mine for $21. I can even show you proof if you want 😄.

The pro version has a black ear hook while the non version one has a transparent ear hook. Mine has the black one so it's totally the pro version one.

@@VortexReviews1 It's been 1 week since using it and I totally loved it. I don't mind the hissing sound cause it would just disappear when playing music and I don't have to worry about the wire anymore 😁. There's these one thing that I find weird, I sometimes experienced hearing a crack loud sound that hurts my ears for a 1-3 secs for days now. I've experienced 5 times now. Did I get a defective item? If so, wouldn't bother returning it. I'm just fine with it. Hope that it would survive for months or years.

Very disappointed. Latest shipment do not support APTX Adaptive, HD, or even LL. OP please fix the title to avoid misleading further purchases, unless someone knows how to enable the codec other APTX classic.

@@muttyhc Neobuds Pro are more focused and have ANC / ambient mode which the KZ adapter doesn't and has LDAC. KZ A09 Pro are more universal. Choice is yours.

Please someone convince me to get this. I want to get it but I don't have good enough reason to get it. I come from TWS hobby world. I own 6 TWS. Then I started collecting IEMs as I believe having physical cable actually produce better sound quality. I still believe this is the case to this day. I already own TWS that support LDAC, with good customization through its app. How would I know using IEM with Bluetooth adapter with only Aptx codec would sound better than LDAC TWS? If I feel like going wireless, I have good TWS set. If I feel like going for better sound quality, I have good IEM set. I don't see the point of using this adapter as it will likely not provide better sound quality than true TWS I own.

Looks like you answered your own question. If these had LDAC then it might be an upgrade but you should just skip it.
