Lol 😂 They are not uncomfortable or weird. It's not huge,but not as flat as certain others are. Plus,the sound with the settings I mentioned makes up for everything.

Not overwhelmingly different,but, definitely adds some subtle detail and definition. Also,volume gets a boost at times.

Hi. If you want to upgrade better save a bit more and get the cca rhapsody. Its a great upgrade.

Zero red definitely a fair bit better especially with soundstage and imaging IMO. But the castor is definitely the best IEM I would recommend before the price jump to zero red’s.

I'd go with this. The highs are not as harsh as you can use the tuning switch to handle that.

Happy New Year brother ❤️ I don't know if I would call it an upgrade,but,I thoroughly enjoyed the sound. And it gives you that control over the harsh high frequencies to make it sound a bit more mellow.

Castor Bass Version has the versatility to tone down the sibilance which you can't on the ZSN PRO X

I doubt it would sound any different to the dac he used

BLON BL03 is quite good, don't worry.

TANGZU WAN'ER is a safe bet. KZ Castor sounds more dynamic.

Overall bass is better on Castor. Safe bet for pleasant overall sound is TANGZU WAN'ER.

SIMGOT EA500LM,EM6L,EW200,ORIVETI OD200. Truthear NOVA is also a great option.

ZEX is fine,but they are a bit sibilant. These give you a bit of control to handle that sibilance. The bass is also deeper on these.

This is a great option. So are KZ ZSN PRO X ( a bit sibilant),CCA CRA,BLON BL03

My suggested tuning is a good balance for me for any genre. Now you'll have to fiddle around and find your pick.

I would say KZ Castor with my settings sounds better.

At par I would say. But,the standard sibilance of the ZSN PRO X can be adjusted in the case of the Castor thanks to the tuning switch.

Not a downgrade really,but more versatile due to the tuning switches.

7hz is pretty flat tuning so I'd go for castor if you want more bass

Doesn't have ANC. But, with the included foam eartips,the passive noise isolation is pretty impressive.

@@quazimaieshatasnin2898 once again,there is NO ANC in either. Foam tips simply take up the contour of your ear and thus have better passive noise isolation.

A bit chunky,yes. But the sound can be tuned to sound VERY impressive.

Depends on personal preference.... nothing is better than one another but I prefer Chu 2 because I like neutral sound signatures.

​​@@Purecast9 thanks for replying. sorry im new in this iem world and i have a couple of questions if you would please answer them. firstly does the kz caster need a lot of power to work with its full potential, if so i even tried it on my laptop and the bass was still underwhelming, no tremor and very little bass. secondly, i did not find the exact same DAC Amp you suggested but i found one with the same specs but it also comes with a little USB, and im not sure why its that for. so my questions are, is buying the dac really help that much? and do i get that DAC amp that also comes with a usb?

So I got the KZ castors (bass edition) a couple of days ago and for the PS5 I paired it with the CVJ hato mic. The KZ Castors inline mic it comes with is alright. To me it is your typical inline mic. So I ordered the Antlion Kimura mic to see if it makes a difference in mic quality. The CVJ Hato mic I got with the KZ castors sound low and it doesn't really cancel out the background noise. Not sure if a DAC/Amp will help fix that on the PS5, but if so, let me know. But the KZ castor earbuds themselves are solid. The sound for the price is insanely good and I feel like they should be priced higher. I'm really pleased with these, but now I just need to find a decent mic to pair it with.

@@azharriaz14 On the PS5, they sound amazing for gaming. I heavily play PUBG or games that rely on sound and it is pretty impressive for the price. I'm thinking about going ahead and adding an amp/DAC combo later down the line. For the PS5, if you connect it straight to the controller, it is decent. It handles directional sounds are just as good as my Astro A50s. It only lacks a little bit of bass, but it isn't muddled which is a plus. I highly suggest them for the PS5 although I heard the Moondrop Chu 2s are better. But honestly, I can live with the KZ castors. Only problem is finding a decent mic that connects to the IEMs directly. The CVJ Hato is alright, but it sounds low. I did tweak them a bit to where they sound louder and clearer. Also, because of the updates Sony has made to the controllers and added ANC via the AI they use, you don't need to worry about background noises. Correction on the last bit: you may need to tweak the controller headset mic level to where background noises will not be a huge problem.

I prefer this.

Castor. It lets you fine tune to a degree and that helps in reducing the sibilance that is prevalent on the ZSN PRO X. Then again,if sibilance is not a huge deal breaker, then the ZSN PRO X is mighty impressive.
