Aconteceu comigo qdo criança 😢.. Fui para o H.C. pois a moeda estava no pulmão eu acho..Eu sei eu respirava e doía mto. Nos antigamentes não usavam endoscopia para fazer a retirada, mas usavam lavagem intestinal. Como não estava aínda nem no estômago ou intestino me mandaram para casa 😢.. Porém antes , eu e mamãe fomos a uma pastelaria. Resumindo... O médico recomendou a minha mãe que procurase a moeda no dia seguinte nas minhas fezes 🤢 finalmente estava lá 🙏. A moeda eu penso que era do mesmo tamanho, porém mais pesada. 0,50 centavos dos anos 80🙂.

When my nehew was in grade four he swallowed a needle when he was removing something in his mouth, the needle went to his lungs, he was immediately brought to the hospital, for immediate operation because he can hardly breath, the operation was very successful my nephew survived from death.Thank you very much for the doctors who operated my nephew. gebis now 21 years old today

Working in a school office, I had to remove a Quarter Dollar from a third graders throat without medical assistance. PARENTS!! PLEASE teach your kids to keep things OUT of their Mouths. The EMTS would have arrived too late had I not experienced God's Spirit & intervened. ALL GLORY TO GOD!!❤❤

My 7 year old grandson is still putting things in his mouth! His parents & I are constantly on him NOT to! One night, he jumped up eyes bulging, grabbing his throat. His sister calmly saying "he swallowed a quarter" I jumped up, thankfully a smack on the back knocked it out of his mouth. Figured I'd try that once before the heimlich. He still puts things in his mouth! 🤬

When we were young me and my brother used to swallow coins but our parents didn't ever batther to rush us to hospital, i really don't know how we used to survive it and we did it several times they just told us that it will come out with poop😂

This doctor is not a good one if he lets the eyes of the kid open all the time during anesthesia. They are taking damage because the blinking reflex isn't working during anesthesia. I hope the kid didn't wake up complaining about eye damage or even blindness.

You are right but not always need anesthesia due to this process because this same thing happened with my brother and doctor told this time don't need anesthesia all patients are different problem bro

she may have been moderately sedated or even awake. i have awoken during upper endoscopy procedures and can say from personal experience that they really hurt if awake.

You know kids have been swallowing coins since the beginning of time since there were coins around he would have eventually or she would have eventually pooped it out there was no reason to spend lots of money to have the coin removed unless it was blocking her esophagus or the flap in her stomach that opens and closes when you eat...Usually that kind of stuff comes out in their poop mo need to go through all this.
