The story of the explosion at 42:00 is UNREAL. I can't imagine a tree being blasted to over 10,000ft in the air.

Glad to hear these stories about the Forgotten war.Sad that so many of these Veterans are in their 80s and 90s.. now I base this on the fact that most of these veterans Korean war vets were born in late 1920's early 1930's. And this is 2019

Our CAP squadron was lucky enough to get a bird dog and we flew it every chance we got. An amazing airplane, indeed. It would do anything you asked of it. A delight to fly but of course we weren't getting shot at in the CAP. That's a different story. We used to help round up and herd wild mustangs (the horse type) in Nevada.

30:00 I read a book that took place in Korea, at the very end of or just after the war. It talked about this hill from the perspective of a village, and it described how the hill had somehow offended the Americans so they decided to kill it. It was fun to see it from that perspective, because the Korean had never even thought about killing a hill, and he was very impressed with how it was done.

6:00 You'd think they'd be smart enough to realize, to get water out of fuel, you pot it onto a tank with a drain on the bottom. Let it sit a while, then open the drain to let the water out. When gasoline starts coming out, you close the drain.

16:50 So US and British units engaged each other in Korea. Who won?
