Shortest Job First (SJF) is an algorithm in which the process having the smallest execution time is chosen for the next execution. This scheduling method can be preemptive or non-preemptive. It significantly reduces the average waiting time for other processes awaiting execution.

@@GateSmashers sir ye we questions mein jaise P2 constantly 3 unit time k liye run hua gant chart mein ya P1 bhi 4 unit time k liye rha cpu mein jo ki hum log eksath use 4 unit time k liye run karwa sakte the .as you said in the lecture .. But sir toh phir ismein no of context switching kya hoga 4 hoga ya jitne bar change ho raha har unit k bad mein wo hoga context switching...?? Plss reply !!!

Its 2023 , My ipu OS external exam is in the morning , and i had started my syllabus at 12:00 am & its already 3 am , now feeling OS is an easy subject due to this channel & your teaching method.
