Much better than the school bus instructors. This test is the same as a Parking brake test, Service brake test, and a L.A.B test. You have several different videos for each of the P.S. and L.A.B. test. I see your App has a trailer as well. Had some difficult time searching all the different video wish it was all in one video.

Great video Please correct the following. Show test for air loss in 1 min. without brake Pedal applied 2psi with tractor only, 3 psi with Trailer. Show test for air loos in 1 min. with brake pedal applied loss is 3psi tractor only, 4 psi with trailer. I would also suggest start truck build air pressure to Gov cut off then release brakes and wait for initial air loss and pressure to stabilize then turn off ignition key.

Missing 4 critical components of the in cab air brakes test. NO cut in test, parking brake & service brake tests . that's an automatic fail forgetting any of these skills. They also fail to mention you must wait for air pressure to settle before engaging in the applied brake test. If you are a new student driver in a truck driving school DONT watch this video. Listen to your Instructors instead. There is a very good video for the airbrakes test by Grtruckingdemolition

Do you have a simulation for a class b automatic dump truck?? Could really use it.

Love the video, only thing that I was always told different is to release the brake and ensure the system is at full pressure in the simulator it stated turn the engine off then release the brakes so I am testing at 100ish psi for air loss on a system that usually runs around 120-125 psig. Is this simulator available via a website or pay for software kind of thing.

How truck drivers do

I have a question regarding the air brakes test. Do I have to push in the tractor and trailer brakes (yellow and red) before doing the air leak and early warning system tests? I recently started taking lessons at a school in the Bronx, New York, where the trainer told me not to push in the brakes for those tests, only do it for the spring brakes test (pop out test). Is that true? The manual says different? I don't want to fail because of bad advise.
