I was about to give up but combined with your new tip and things I notice you doing, I was able to get my long hair to curl too!! Don’t give up on this tool! It really does work!! It’s all about technique and how slow you pull. My hair used to catch and pull but I have fixed that too! 🎉❤

I have naturally curly hair and it’s pretty long. I bought this tool so I could have a looser curl when I wanted. I could not get my hair to curl with this thing. Instead of curls, it straightened it without me even using it as a straightener. I pulled it out again tonight just to try it, and again, no luck. This video is a lifesaver. Ok… I bought the hair tool… tried it and was perplexed why it didn’t work for me. I thought perhaps I have hair that might be too long for this tool. Before gifting it away, I decided to come on KZfaq and see if I couldn’t find a video of someone with long hair using it. I was amazed by your video, particularly your comments about it being your second go at the tool. Like you… I used it the other way around. I’ll plan on giving it another. Just got the grande and tried it how I *thought* it should work, but just doing the one rotation and drag down didn’t work at all on my long, thick hair. I watched this video and tried again and got the loose curls I was looking for (after combing through with a wide-tooth comb afterwards). Thank you!

It looks great. ... but it also looks like a lot if work. I have long thick hair too and the heat free bathrobe tie trick seems to be the easiest method with best results. Im considering buying this, but Im just not sure if its worth it. Also, the baby poop story was hysterical and soooooo relatable

Thanks for the video. This should definitely help & thanks for the accent it’s lovely to listen to. I used mine today after watching videos for at least a half hour and even during and failed. I wasn’t turning lmao. But I did the bottom and had 1 good curl. With the grande you can take larger sections and works good for the longer haired ladies. Because the curls didn’t work I know at least it’s a good straightener & has good potential when I get the hang of it for curling. It looks like it takes equal time. I used my curling wand to save the day and typically my hair doesn’t struggle with holding curls but I could definitely tell where the wand saved the day and I had temperature up high. Hair products used: their “marula oil hydrating mist & thermal magique” and don’t quite have an opinion on them. They’re ok I guess.

I can do the left side of my hair perfectly, the right side decently, but, goodness the back is impossible for me to get good. I love the idea of this because I’m awful with a curling iron or flat iron curls.

Do you hold the Le Duo down on both sides? I can hold it upside down on my left side but cannot on my right side. 🤔 I'm right handed, does that make a difference?

I’m happy to help!! Yes, I’m right handed but I hold it down on both sides. I just use my opposite hand to hold the tool for whatever side I’m on. I hope you get good results 🤍🤍

I don’t have to twist mine or anything but I do mine way diff so much easier than some of the vids I’ve watched. My hairs shorter rn but idk maybe thts some of the diff but not all maybe the newer ones r better made 🤷‍♀️. I just put my piece of hair in and turn it around it n then like ima straighten it n it just magically curls girl. I hope u figure this out idk how to explain it exactly but it’s really fast n w kids u need tht💖

I don’t think you have to keep rotating it. You can just rotate it the one time and then pull it down. Just a tip to make it faster.

Why does my hair not "glide through?" I keep having to slightly open the clip, and of course that interrupts the curl. UGH! :-( I was able to do it fine on my left side. But the right side is impossible.

Sometimes I use L’ange heat shield but usually I don’t use anything just because I don’t like the sticky residue on my hair. 🤍🤍

My hair holds curl really well and I don’t like the texture that hairspray gives my hair so I try not to use it. 🤍🤍

Can you actually feel the cool air with your hand? I just got one and I can't feel any air. I don't want to go through the hassle of exchanging if that's how they all are.

I definitely don’t feel cool air coming out of mine. I just hear the fan running but don’t feel any air blowing out. Hope this help!! Thanks for watching🤍🤍

So I got this for Christmas and every video I watch I can not figure it out I tried pointing the iron down but I still can’t get a single curl in my head. Do you have any other tips?

Oh I’m sorry it’s still not working out for you. I honestly prefer a regular wand over this tool. It’s just too hard to try to “make” it work. Why make things harder, you know? I hate the waste of money on a tool that doesn’t really work out well though. 🤍🤍

This video is a bit older, but do you think this is a good product and do you still use it? They sell a new one that is for longer hair, but I don't want to pay $50 more just for basically the same styler.

I would totally get the longer one if I didn’t already have this one!! It would save more time of me having to twist and hold because it would cover more hair at a time. It’s a little tricky but once you get the hang of it it’s a great tool!! 🤍🤍

Mine is thicker and naturally sort of wavy in places lol 😆 it has a mind of its own!!

I have not had any luck with it. My hair is super thin and a LITTLE wavy, not much, but getting it straight doesn’t work for me at all. Sooooooo frustrating!!!

I’m not crazy about the straightener on it either. The curling definitely took me a lot of work to finally get it right. Lol 😅 I know it’s soooo frustrating!! They make it look so easy 🤦🏻‍♀️

I can't figure out how to get it to heat up more than the lowest setting. How does that work?

I struggled trying to figure that out at first too 😅 you have to hold down the power button once it’s on and then it will move up to the next heat setting. After that you just press it until it gets to the one you want. Hope that helps!! 🤍🤍

Do your curls last through the day? Mine haven't so far. Debating on returning because my wand it faster and lasts. But I love the idea of the le duo

They definitely loosen up and fall some throughout the day, but my hair also holds curl really well. I do think the wand makes my curls last even longer though. It’s definitely not my favorite tool for curling. I agree, I think the wand is easier, quicker, and lasts longer. 🤍🤍

I just ordered mine, but after the fact, I realized I didn't order the Le Duo Grande. Which is for long hair. Just wondering if you have the Le Duo, or the Le Duo Grande? Your hair is really long, so I'm wondering if I will be able to get away with keeping the Le Duo (for shoulder-length hair). Damn impulse buys!! 🤣

You shouldn’t have to keep twisting the tool you just drag it slowly down.

With long thick hair, it doesn’t pull through just dragging it slowly down. It stops. You have to keep twisting it.

I’ve found that the more you twist the barrel the more curly it is. I hope I’m making sense lol
