Lübeck is a port and once Hanseatic city and urban district in northern Germany. It is located in the southeast of the state of Schleswig-Holstein, on the coast of the Baltic Sea. Approximately 218 thousand inhabitants live here. Lübeck is called the "city of seven towers", which form its historic silhouette. Churches and residential buildings were built of bricks.
