Hey Shane, appreciate your support. I'm coming into my own and becoming more comfortable, that will be more apparent with time. When I first started this I was afraid of being rejected if I didn't keep everything as PC as possible, but I'm getting over that and having more fun with it. I did just purchase five LED lights to use for the videos, I have four of them in currently and I'm working on figuring out the ideal lighting arrangement so there should be at least a somewhat noticeable change in that category coming shortly. I'm actually about to move to a new house so I won't be able to hang up anything on the walls for a little while to help with sound dampening, so I'll just stick with the lapel mic in the meantime and possibly move to a different room that has better acoustics until I get to my new abode. I don't disagree with anything you've said, I'm just still kind of working through everything and learning as I go. Hopefully with these new investments I've made it will up the quality a little bit. If I can make constant small increases in quality then I'll eventually get to where I need to be. Thanks again Shane.

Ashton, I was worried that you would possibly take offense to my suggestions, but then again, your demeanor and the way to go about things would suggest otherwise and deep down I knew this:) Buddy, let it out as NO one is rejecting you--that I can assure you. I sincerely expect you to be one of the top frag reviewers because of your genuineness and most appreciate it--not stroking any ego here, just being real. I know with a studio type set-up (with time of course) you will come into your own. I'm young, but old school and when I saw all your fragrances I kept saying wow, he has to showcase some of this and with the proper "light" hitting off the bottles. See, it's everything, even the presentation of the bottles. I'm not talking about putting a bland shelf up behind you to showcase ALL your fragrances (tacky), but what I am saying is thinking of something unique to showcase some of your amazing collection with some sort of unique and mysterious type lighting that sets you apart. Anyway, you know what I'm saying and I know you have thought of things as well. I am in your corner, hoping you can take this over the top and I, along with so many others, think you can. I'm not some crazy fragrance collector, but what I like are the many memories that come from fragrances as I'm taken back in time, remembering the awesome times we had smelling my old mans collection (probably 20 scents at the most, but back then that may as well been a 1000:). This is what I love, the memories that scents can remind you of. Just getting back into it again and vicariously reliving my life as a 8 year old boy smelling by dads fragrances is just damn blissful and relaxing indeed for me. So, I thank you buddy for listening to my never-ending rant and I also appreciate what you're doing with the frag community. One day I would like to meet you, shake your hand and sincerely thank you for bring back something I really loved all along--all about the memories as you know. - Shane

Not offended at all my man. There have been a few people over the months that were kind of nasty but as long as someone is being constructive or understanding instead of aggressive I'll always listen. I'm going to have an office area dedicated to recording video in the new casa so I'll be able to set everything up nicer when that time comes. I did decide to move where I shoot videos in my current room so it will look a little different. Previously I was shooting in the corner and that was a difficult area to light properly so I've moved everything in front of a couple of my fragrance cabinets. With what I'm working with currently it looked like the best place since it has at least a little overhead light to help me kill some of the shadows. It still isn't perfect, but it'll work better in the meantime. I agree with you on certain scents bringing back a flood of memories. Sometimes of a person, sometimes of a place, sometimes of a time. It's amazing how smelling something can release endorphins and just strike you so suddenly, rushing memories back into your mind.

a_2010x This would explain why I got the very last bottle of it at my local Macy’s yesterday! I smelled it and wanted to buy it, but they had none out front. They offered to order it and have it shipped to me but it wasn’t coming up on their site. They went in back and brought out the last box.
