In my all-time top 10 filmmakers. He has not made a film yet in 23 years that I don't love, and I think the L'il Quinquin movies are on par with the greatest comedies of all time. Dumont is the anti-Tarantino, and for that alone, for his insistence the movies are not the be all end all (while still making some of the best movies of the century), I will always appreciate him. I wish more filmmakers would take after him and not the dreaded QT.

Il ferait mieux d'être un peu plus cinéphile non seulement pour connaître mieux une partie de son audience mais aussi parce que ça lui éviterait peut être ses navets actuels.
