First of all, nice reaction! I really liked your analysis, you've pointed some details that I have never paid attention to. Sound Horizon is Revo's "main" project, where he composes music for stories he creates, that's why they're called "story music". As you've noticed, he often uses narrations, voice acting and sfx to increase the ambience and the "storytelling" feeling. The lyrics are pretty narrtive-driven too, as they are stories as already mentioned. You've also noticed how similar this particular song is to the AoT openings, that's because this album, Moira, came sooner than the AoT manga itself, so it's safe to say that it was Guren no Yumiya that took inspiration from this song instead. Also, the plot of this album, Moira, has some strong resemblances to the Attack on Titan plot, and they both share some themes in common. Pretty much all of the Linked Horizon's Attack on Titan songs have some inspirations from his previous works in Sound Horizon, in the lyrics or in the composition itself. Sound Horizon is kinda a rabbit hole, since it feels like you're entering into a whole new dimension. This feeling is quite different from simply discovering a new band, as Sound Horizon isn't just a band: it is an entire universe with storylines, plots, lots of characters and some gimmicks that make it feel like a cult (if you look for "Sound Horizon Anthem", you're gonna discover why). In Sound Horizon, Revo roleplays as a king of a fantasy kingdom, where the fans, known as "Laurants", are his subjects. Every story concert is treated as the fantasy world in that album coming to the real world, and even the characters played by Revo are treated as different persons (in the concerts' castings, Revo's name is always replaced with the name of the chatacter(s) he's playing on the concert). Btw, the concerts are amazing. They do not just perform the song, they perform the stories. They use scenario objects, costumes, vfx, actors and more other things that make their concerts looking like musical plays. Sound Horizon is like a different world to me, so I might be exaggerating when I say it is a damn deep rabbit hole 😅

You must absolutely take in the live performances, they're mind blowing and take it to a completely different level- watch moira live for a complete storytelling and then triumph of third Territorial expansion (triumph III) for a sampling of the whole world on display in a live. Seriously you have to.

Personally, I think Moira is Revo's best work (out of what I've heard ofc). It'd be awesome if you reacted to the full album sometimes. It's kinda meant to all be listened to in one session. Haha Also, the volume of the music is slightly low on this video in my opinion. Either way, thanks for giving this some attention! Moira is one of my favorite musical albums period.
