个人认为，生活在那个国家都有好有坏。无论你从事那个行业，只要你有专长，生活在那里都不是问题。乡村人有乡村人的生活方式，他们也有为国家作出供献，用他们勤奋的双手种了许多各种各类鲜美蔬菜供城市人享用！虽然他们大部份人都不会讲英语，但是生话也蛮开心的！追求高物質享受当然没错，我们也要非常感谢农村人付出汗水为都市人带来新鲜又美味的农作物，感恩！

Refreshing idea to use mandarin on the pod cast! As a employer myself, we also work with Malaysian employees and they really earn much more doing the similar job back in Malaysia. That is why most of them choose to come Singapore to work. 😊

Take the advantage of the PR status, enjoy the benefits of both side. Can work on both side easily and also buy HDB. You do not have to die die buy the condominium which is very expensive now. Now $1 is approximately 3.4 ringgit.

I think Msia new goverment's direction is not on service industry，the industry focus approach emphasise investments in new development areas like electric vehicles, smart factories using 5G technology, supply chain ecosystems and green technology, example like Geely ev car, Amazon, Infineon, Alibaba etc. Story aside, I think Ipoh is the biggest 马劳 supply to Spore after Johor like Kevin.

谢谢分享。其实在视频里面的每一位嘉宾中文都不会太差 (除了Kelvin看起来可能会比其他三位嘉宾弱一点以外)。我也觉得新加坡的两位年轻人其实中文都不赖，也能表达得蛮通顺和自然，这倒是令我觉得惊讶也蛮惊喜的。相信这和大家平时是否有在说中文很有关系，特别是在家里和父母或孩子之间的沟通语言，若全都是用英文的话，在外面和同事，上司下属也全都是用英文的话，那么相信中文水平方面自然就会比较差，因为这和完全没有机会去操练的关系。相反的，若是在家里或在外面都比较常有机会说或使用中文，以及让自己主动去学习多接触和找机会和花时间让自己去多看一点中文的视频而不止是英文视频，多听或看一些中文的新闻，时事报道，娱乐资讯，多听或唱些自己所喜欢的中文歌，在传whatsapp简讯或写什么讯息时也学习使用一下中文。另外，就跟学习英文一样，刚开始操练时多多少少都会觉得比较累，吃力和富有挑战性及困难，而且可能还需要时不时去翻查一下字典来帮助自己等等。不过，过了一段日子后，就会慢慢觉得会越来越得心应手，收放自如。假以时日，必定突飞猛进，更上一层楼或几层楼。虽然可能不一定或还是无法像那些使用单一语言也就是以中文为主的国家和地区如：中国大陆，台湾，香港，澳门那样可以如鱼得水般用得那么自然。但是，在一般的会话和沟通上来说，相信应该不成问题。有句话说：Practice does not make you perfect, it only makes you better. 盼望身为华人的我们会好好欣赏和珍惜我们的语言和文化，同时也学会尊重其他人和我们不同的语言和文化。大家彼此鼓励，一起加油。愿上帝继续赐福马来西亚，也赐福新加坡。😊🙏

imo sg's edge is the currency. no sane person will want to take the trouble to move overseas to work for a company that pays less and reward you with longer working hours. sg with talents? yes there are, but probably less than a 1mil. a tiny fraction compared to bigger countries.

Imo, Malaysians in Sg, I see them as locals. Be it friends, neighbours, colleagues, I feel they have the same culture, language, food preferences, etc that locals can relate and connect to easily. It’s easy to work with them also bcuz they are very real, down to earth and hardworking ppl. As for the earning 3x exchange rate, I agree with Boon Tee, u earn and spend here, if u are going to retire here as well, really no difference. But the only difference I see is parental and home support. Because supporting parents back in Malaysia will be much less costly. I rem my Malaysian frens who travel back for CNY, the red packet they give to parents can really be quite a lump sum kind. But to be fair, being away from family is the sacrifice in return. As for NS, many Singaporeans treat as wasting time, held back from career progression. But I see it as a process of maturing, and acquiring the skills to self defend Sg when needed. Why would u want the Malaysians to go thru motion when the 意义 is not there? In return, Malaysians who came to sg to work, all of them are a source of rental income for locals. In terms of paying rents for many years compared to serving NS for 1+ years, monetary disadvantage wise, I wouldn’t say they are better off.

新加坡与马来西亚本是一家，更是唇齿相依，是无耐的政治历史給分割了，但我们的先辈很多是早年过来一步一个脚印和新加坡人一起打拚的，很多最终成为新加坡公民，那年代是很普遍的，所以很多人两边都有亲人，两边都是根，我道地的新加坡人，已年过七十，和国家一起走过动荡的岁月，也领取过很低的工资，年轻过的是捉衿见勒的日子，我们国家能走到今天，是靠人民与国家一起努力，这一切不是平白无故从天上掉下个来的，我们欢迎世界各地的人来这里工作，读书，居住，，我们的宿命决定了我们生在那个国家，就像我们无从选择父母一样，父母再不好也是我们的父母，要尊敬孝顺他们，做为儿女我不喜欢外人对我父母不敬，我的国家就等同我父母，我们尊敬别人的父母同样的也希望别人尊重我们的父母😊

Excatly. But the younger genZ are increasing delusional thinking its their god given right to make a good living without sacrifice. They wanted good paying job yet refuse to put in the time or effort to build a career so most resort to gig economy like Grab because the money is better from the start with freedom only to realise 5-10 years has passed, they are in their mud 30s in a dead end job with the same pay, no cpf and no benefits while their peers have risen through the career ladder, have high paying jobs with perks. Then these people feel jelous blames the government, blames foreigners, blames everyone but themselves

@@whatnameshouldichoose854 that’s because Singapore has limited land so landed house and cars are pretty much unaffordable. Compare other stuff which are not heavily taxed by the government. Daily necessities, food, entertainment , dollar for dollar sg wins Malaysia. Sg ppl can go holiday at Japan Korea, Europe but can the $5k rm do that? And before you say I’m like some stuck up Singaporean, I’m from Malaysia and am working in KL. My fresh graduate pay in a bank is $2.8k rm. my peers who moved to sg upon graduation drew $3.2k sgd. it took them maybe just 6 years to double their income in a bank. So it’s bullshit to say working in msia is as well off as working in sg. Try living in malaysia with $5k rm then say. Now my chicken rice already 10rm. Milo ais at 3.5rm. How to survive? You walk on the streets of sg u see most ppl using iPhone or Samsung, wearing branded sneakers and drink bbt. You think living in malaysia earning rm can afford this?

At the end of the day, its the degree and skill that matter to employer. The university facility and syllabus wont give you higher chance to get a job.

其实在马的华人生活并不是别人说得那么糟啦！生活也沒很大的压力. 年轻人不想待在小地方都往大地方或去国外看看,体验体验也是很正常的事. 其实他们家乡父母很多都有土地的, 有些更是放在家里的车还要多过家里的人口呢！只是看你自己想要过怎样的生活罢了！

@@jia03 沒錢的一等公民透過政策性的歧視，剝奪其他族群高等教育的受教權並掌握政治權利，二等公民也只能大量往海外去（就學/打工/移民）了，再加上一等公民連買房的價格都遠低於二等公民，長久下來錢當然自然流向一等公民那裡去了，無法出國留學在國內也沒受教權的二等公民很可能不只政治、連經濟上也成為弱勢，而且因這種政策性的歧視，之後世世代代都無法翻身馬來西亞華人人口占比下降很多是不爭的事實（但有人還在溫水煮青蛙而選擇性忽視），連在新加坡拿PR受的待遇都比馬國自己公民身份好的多吧

认了吧！去新加坡工作的理由关键在于钱比较多。别一谈钱就不敢直説，觉得俗气，矮人一截的。其实也没什么。两国货币兑换下，许多马国人的确自觉占尽了便宜。把新币换回马国消费，那是一笔极可观的数目。他们有这般想法也不足为奇了。

觉得华语要大大改进，不怎么流利，用字有的也不恰当。例如做工，做工通常是做粗工，如泥工，野外工作。如果在办公室上班，应该是＂工作＂不是做工。又如我们来去吃饭。其实不用来又去，去吃饭就好了。客家话是来去，最普遍，但在传统的中文，不用来了又去。

有二点 1.如果你想一辈子打工做馬劳, 是可以呆在新加坡工作没问题 2.如果想要找出路創业,不想一輩子做馬劳, 就应该当机立断快快回馬, 在大馬找商机, 机會也多也較容易, 趁年青做个决定, 别只想到匯率问题, 更应该为未来前景做思维才是上策！
