There are no English subtitles for this clip. Robert Rossellini visited India in 1959 to make a film on the optimistic nation building large dams under Nehru. He made a semi fictional feature length film with documentary elements, India: Matri Bhumi. During his travel over India he visited Kerala also. Kerala was running an ambitious project aided by the Norwegian government and UNO to modernise fishing. Rossellini shot the construction works and coastal life for a television newsreel.
