この側溝のふた(？)を開ける時の棒が便利ですよね。

蓋はグレーチング。 棒は、鉄筋を溶接した手作りしたものを頂きました。

@@KunihikoKubota With the amount of snow, I thought Hokkaido - thank you for your reply. I grew up in Port Fairy on the south coast of Australia and never saw snow until a trip to our small mountains in the State of Victoria. I am very sure there is more than one word for snow in Japanese.

Do you do this daily during winter? Does the city penalised you for not clearing it? How often do you clear the roof?

雪がつもれば、実施します。 これをしなくても、罰則はありません。 ただし、道が狭くなり不便です。
