Time for a rant. Villain Deku really reminds me of Syndrome from The Incredibles. He just wanted to be a hero, but in this particular AU, All Might rejected him. He didn’t go after revenge right away, but when he got the chance to join the LOV and get vengeance against the people who made him feel worthless, he didn’t hesitate. To be honest, Villain Deku seems more realistic because if this were real life and not an anime, then All Might would try and find someone who’s better than Deku because as we all know, believing in this world is impossible. Only some people get where they want to be by just ‘following their dreams’, the rest of us are doomed to being crushed under the weight of societies expectations. I find it really smart that Deku didn’t kill Bakugou as soon as he saw him, I feel as if Deku wants to make Bakugou regret everything that he did to him, sort of break him down slowly before killing him. Maybe even wait till he’s a pro hero and has a family before finally kidnapping him and making him watch as everyone he loved and cared about dies. I’m sorry, that last part was really dark. Don’t know where that came from. Uh, yeah. That’s the end of my rant. Bye I guess. :)
