This is my review of the L'Oréal Elvive Hydra Hyaluronic Acid Range which includes the L'Oréal Elvive Hydra Hyaluronic Acid Moisture Boosting Shampoo, L'Oréal Elvive Hydra Hyaluronic Acid Moisture Locking Conditioner, L'Oréal Elvive Hydra Hyaluronic Acid Moisture Plump Serum, and the L'Oréal Elvive Hydra Hyaluronic Acid 72hr Moisture Wrapping Mask.
This range is designed for dehydrated hair. In my video I talk about the benefits of hyaluronic acid for hair, and particularly for high porosity hair, curly hair, dry hair and fine thin hair. I also compare how this range performs compared with the OGX Biotin and Collagen Shampoo and Conditioner, and the OGX Liquid Pearl Shampoo and Conditioner.
You can find a full range of recommended products for high porosity hair at the following link:
ukbeautyroom.com/high-porosit...
I have also got separate reviews of the OGX Liquid Pearl shampoo and OGX Biotin and Collagen shampoo which I mentioned in this video. You can find those reviews at the following links:
ukbeautyroom.com/ogx-biotin-a...
ukbeautyroom.com/ogx-liquid-p...
Overall I found that this range is excellent for adding volume to natural hair. Compared with brands such as Kerastase and Olaplex this range is also much more affordable. I recommend this range for long fine natural hair, low density hair, high porosity hair, hair with hygral fatigue, dry 4c hair, itchy scalp or dull dry hair. I will keep using the serum as part of my curly hair routine for 2022. These products I think would also work well for curly hair shrinkage.
My hair is 2c to 3a and is naturally thin, dry and curly. Please let me know if you have tried this range, or if there are any products you want me to review. I am always looking for hair care products for fine curls.

Honestly this shampoo and conditioner worked better on my hair than L'Oreal's more expensive Kerastase products.

@@mishoamad9097 hello! It depends what’s causing your hair loss in the first place. I also suffered some hair loss and I’m using the Grow Gorgeous Hair Growth Serum to help my hair to regrow. If you have problems with hair fall I would recommend the OGX tea tree mint shampoo which I reviewed in another video. It’s free from sulphates and contains peppermint oil which has been proven in clinical trials to stimulate hair growth. 💕

Hey! Your hair is so good!! Do you use any particular technique to apply this range? Curly hair brush? Or squish it while condition it? Or even style it with heat?

I'm using it for less than a month , I find it well good but not as good as "elvive Dream long" the dream long series was packed you had absolutely everything shampoo , conditioner, mask , serum , liquid serum, magic water , rapid reviver , and heat protecting cream , it worked well , and as promised your hair will look healthy, it will still have split hair , still be the same , but in the end after a brushing your hair will "look" healthy, thick , well taken care of and a decent smell I noticed my hair was longer compared to when I used other shampoos can't guarantee it was dream long that did that but I can tell I noticed my hair was better and looked well , now back to the hyaluron series , it has shampoo, conditioner , mask , serum , the promise is "shiny hydrated hair " , well after almost a month no hair benefit you get the shine and the glossy effect but nothing more , once you stop using it the hair will go back to looking fried ends and dull , it has immediate effect nothing more you want shine use it right away , you want to take care of your hair use dream long , BTW the hyaluron serum is my least fav it's sticky it dried instantly in your hand and leave an unpleasant feeling of stickiness, it's similar to regular "heat protection" serum that are sticky , conclusion the hyaluron is okay not beating the dream long success but it's better for people who had hair treatments and left with dry hair , I still have to use it for longer I will update , the dream long I used it for more than a year and the product contain castor oil which can help fix some hair problems

What would you recommend from the loreal range for someone who is protein sensitive especially shampoos and conditioners with proteins can make my hair look soft at first but drys out in the long run of using it? And does the hyaluronic range contains proteins?

I also got the whole range and I'm in love with it, especially the hair mask. I have a really big issue with the serum though, when I applied the serum my hair kinda felt sticky but I wanted to actually see how it would feel dry. After it dried up my hair was sticked together, literally felt like dry doll hair, like a dry sticky film was on it. Did you have any similar experience with this product?

Thanks for letting me know your experience. I didn’t have this experience with the spray. I’m going to use it again today so I’ll see what my hair feels like when it dries but I didn’t notice a sticky film before

@@ukbeautyroom I bought the spray , as it was half price but never heard about it before. Is it very conditioning ? Do I need another leave in conditioner with it ? I’ve got blonde highlights ( obviously that involves bleach ). My hair’s naturally straight so I don’t want it to go limp. I usually use L’Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil . It’s great for dry, bleached hair. I also bought Garnier Ultimate Blends No Rinse Conditioner a few weeks ago to try out as it was also on offer and that’s nice for the summer as it’s not greasy and it makes the hair fuller

Would this be similar to like those hair bonding treatments that supposed to make your hair look good?
@ukbeautyroom

Hi Kellie, it’s definitely not a bonding treatment. It adds hydration to the hair and makes it less frizzy and more manageable, but it doesn’t repair any damage. If you live in England, the spray is currently half price in Boots. 🙂
