They say incorporating anti-aging products into your skin care routine doesn’t have to break the bank, so in today's Skin Care Saturday video we are going to test typical "drug store" products from L’Oréal...the L’Oréal RevitaLift products to be exact.
These products are said to be affordable and to have mature skin covered when it comes to reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Oh...is that so L’Oréal?...We'll be the judge of that, cause we're going to do a 4 week test. And we didn't pull the duration of this test out of thin air...4 weeks is what is recommended on the back of your RevitaLift boxes. L’Oréal tells us that in just 4 weeks their products will "reduce wrinkles, firm skin, and provide 24 hour moisturization." Again...I say we'll be the judge of that.

I'm 33 and I've been using the night cream since 3 weeks now, day and night, and for my part, I can definitely see and mostly feel the difference. My under eyes are waaay smoother, the fine lines are nearly visible (yes, I use it under my eyes too ^^') and my whole skin feels "plumper" and smoother (when I wash my face it reallys feels different than before !). The results are suble but for my part, I'm really satisfied (plus, I'm a huge fan of the scent). :)

I definitely notice a difference in the skin itself as well as those super fine fine lines you don’t notice unless you really look for. The actual point of moisturizer is to have a healthier skin and I have DEFINITELY noticed that. Your skin has more of a natural glow to it than the 4 week mark. The dark circles under your eyes have lessened. Then some of the super fine lines aren’t noticeable in the 4 week picture. The larger lines yes I don’t see a difference. However I do think your skin looks healthier. Just my personal opinion going off of the pictures. In the future if you try other creams, it is recommended to apply the thinner creams like the eye cream before the thicker creams like the day/ night creams. It can make it harder for the thinner creams to absorb if you have that thicker layer of cream already in place. As of application I’m guilty of being heavy handed too 😂😂 I can’t help it. I have a 16 month old so my skin care is super rushed 😂 slather and run is about how it goes.

Sheri, I could see a difference around your right eye after 4 weeks. Wrinkles below or just to the outside were less noticeable. The front view was not improved. And from the left view, I honestly tried to find a difference in the brief time, but couldn’t. I saw the views 3 times.

The cream does not say that your EXISTING WRINKLES will be gone. The package says it will REDUCED signs of aging and IMPROVED FIRST wrinkles appearance. So meaning to say it will help you NOT to age. The fact that there is no difference since day 1 to week 4 means the product is successful in maintaining your appearance considering that you are stretching your wrinkles a lot and having unrelaxed facial expression. You might have a lot more wrinkles on week 4 without using the product or maybe dryer skin.

Busog Kid - I completely get what you are saying. However, back two years ago when I tested these particular products the back of both the L'Oreal Paris Advanced Revitalift Night Cream and the L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Day Moisturizer boxes said that in just 4 weeks wrinkles will be reduced and skin will be firmer. "In 1 Week: Skin feels fresher, looks improved overall. In 4 Weeks: Skin feels firmer, more elastic. Skin looks smoother with less wrinkles." And the back of the L'Oreal Paris Advanced Revitalift Eye Cream box said, "In 4 Weeks: Dark circles are noticeably reduced. Wrinkles look smoother. Crow's feet appear less visible." That (to me) means that their products won't maintain my current look...but actually make some improvements. Sadly I didn't see any improvements. But you're right...maybe I would have looked worse if I didn't use their products at all...who knows. I can only go off what is promised on the packaging when I do my tests.

There was a big difference girl not a insult you got lots of wrinkles right now you can’t expect results that perfect on your skin after 4 weeks but the product works really good keep using them I noticed a big difference you are too hard on yourself and girl you are so lucky you have even tone skin and no you have no dark circles I do and I’m 31 we are all learning it’s good to have help from other girls along the way keep at it gorgeous girl:)

Just a random guy here(32). I've been using this for nearly a decade, I'm confident that it has helped my facial skin age better. I can just compare my face to my neck, the latter which I never applied the cream to. Keep in mind, I always bought the spf30 anti uv one so a lot of it could have simply been the sun block element.

I'm pretty sure it was not meant to remove the already existing wrinkles it is meant to stop them from forming as fast. And i believe that's every cream out there, no cream can take off the already existing wrinkles , only injections can as far as i know. You're suppose to start using these creams before forming wrinkles on your face not after.

So what happend did it work? I bought the moisturizer the serum and the cleanser I immediately see my skin hydrated and skin is glowin I don’t use eye cream but if I did I would use it right after I wash my face when ur face is clean if I do it after other creams then it might not be absorbed as it would if then when u apply it when ur pores are open and will absorb the first thing u put on but that’s just me I know this was long ago but did it work for u?

Love her she so ownes, I use anti wrinkle when I was 19.n I use any cream only for anti wrinkle only.im 50 now I don't have any wrinkle but I have 2 Lane between my eyebrow. But my brother use nothing but skin is amazing. Maybe genetics. I dont know. But yesterday I buy energising red cream L'Oréal from tesco about 14 pounds. I just need in the winter's to stop crack my face.feel soft.

Yuliyah Mills - I wish someone would have told me how important skincare would be when I was 19. You are so lucky you started taking care of yourself early. I would love it if I could say that I am 50 and don't have any wrinkles...but I am 48 and sadly...I have many wrinkles. But I'm trying to do better and that's what matters...right? I wish i would've watched this video before I bought the "revitalift" morning cream the other day. Well it is a sunscreen so I can at least protect my face. Haven't done the morning sunscreen routine at all in my 43rs of life lol. Get grief from my 22yr old daughter for that! On to the next "miracle cream" lol. Right here with ya girl!! :-)

I buy this for my parents and my brother and they love it. I know most skincare said results in for weeks, but in order for your skin to get the full effect you need to use a product for at least 60 days.

Lovely down to earth lady! I slather the cream on the same way! lol I do though see a very small difference in the four week, very small difference! . The wrinkles are still there but there not a severe as they were in the first week. But I do agree with the way she describes what its supposed to do which is defo not true! so fair play well done.

Honestly there is definitely a very very very small improvement and where I am this cream is actually a little expensive, I wish I had seen your review first I have so many creams and nothing that has really stood out. You have me in tears! Love your commentary 😂 I have been using your suggestion.... skinclinical reverse laser beam. I’m 2 weeks in. Also, like you I use whatever skin cream I have available. I have only been using neutrogena rapid wrinkle repair cream and oil of Olay revitalift volume filler. As of now (13 days into the trio combo) I have noticed.... * pores have almost vanished * monster forehead crevice is there but it is almost unnoticeable. That is the reason for me laser beaming my face 😂 God I hate that one god awful deep ass wrinkle that runs through my entire forehead. * eyebrow hair is much fuller 🤷‍♀️ weird I know * skin looks and feels tighter and healthier * still have an accordion under my eyes and when I smile that accordion gets a million times worse. Since using the trio, my accordion is more plump and not so deep. * black heads are GONE 😃 * I have eczema badly. It has gone to my neck and on my jaw line. Hating these winters in Chicago for that reason. Eczema is at it’s worse. Laser beaming the eczema daily has make my skin not red and scaly 😃❤️😃❤️ Dying to see what 12 weeks of working with the trip will do to me! Thank for letting us all know about your results

I love that you noticed your eyebrows getting thicker...that is too funny and so weird :) what else is funny...I’m actually in the middle of an Olay Revitalift test. I just finished week 1...3 weeks to go. Stay tuned for that video...I’m hoping I get better results from Olay than what I got from L’Oreal...but right now...I’m not to sure :(

I woke up with a terrible rash, my skin was burning. Yes, the skin has plumped - and reddened 😹 I'm so heartbroken, and the skin is peeling as well. I swear I dabbed at my frown lines. Anyone else had a similar reaction? Is this normal?? I'm 38 yo

Snap Sheri! I’m nearly at the end of a tub of Revitalift Eye Cream (and unlike you I do have really dark circles under my eyes) and it has done NOTHING and made no difference whatsoever. I’m sure that mine’s lasted more than 4 weeks too so it’s not even a time issue. They should change their slogan to “L’Oreal - Because it’s not worth it” I want to try that Beauty Bio R45 anti-ageing system that they’re selling on QVC at the moment but it’s £167.00 [$216.45] (apparently that’s a “special value” price - it’s normally £270.00 [$349.95]) but imagine spending that sort of money and it having the same results. THEN I’d be pissed 😡. But you’re right about your smile Sheri, it can light up a small country 😉xxx

Isabella Loxley - OK...literally laughed out loud when I read your new slogan for L’Oreal. That is the best one yet. I’ll have to get John to design us a T-Shirt for that one. I am gonna say...hard pass on the Beauty Bio stuff...that is way to expensive for something that you have no idea if it will work or not. I would love to say that I will test it out for you...but that stuff is way to rich for my blood at the moment :) And yeah...I only spent like $40 on this L’Oreal crap and was super pissed that it didn’t work...can you even imagine how pissed we would be at spending $300 on something? No thank you :)

Thanks for the very honest review, by now we all should know that when the deep wrinkles are already present there is not miracle cream to get rid of them at all. The creams, serums, essence etc etc can only slow down the aging process. I follow a very simple day and night skin care routine religiously but I keep my expectations to a minimum, for deep wrinkle prevention I do botox on my forehead and between my brows about 3 times a year and that is what is really helping me with the wrinkles.

Sharamiko 1968 - You are so welcome...thank you for watching the video. I have always wanted to try Botox...but I think I am too nervous. Knowing my luck I would get a doctor that accidentally shoots the Botox into a blood vessel and then I would have to walk around like I have Bell's Palsy on the left side of my face for the rest of my life :)

So, my little doppelgänger southern sista…😊.. I noticed that your skin looks a bit brighter! Yay! AND…the overall appearance looks more uniform, like I mean the colour is more even-no red or anything-just like a more even colour….aYour 4 week side profile seems to me, the jowel area seems a bit uplifted and firmer. As for the 3 dark spots on you left cheek-they actually seem lighter. Overall, I think it was helping but only a bit. I turn the big 5-1 in October, so for the price and the multi products, they won’t do much for me. It’s a pass. Might be a great line for f products for the 30 year olds? I’m I’m sending you an email in the next few days with a product idea. But yes, definitely show us the new Roc line! Thanks for being our Guinea pig so that we don’t spend our money on bunk eh?

i think the manuka honey line from loreal will help your skin . revitalift is for other problems . your skin lost elasticity ! thats what you should try ! Btw you are adorable 😍

sreetama bakshi - Now...first let me say...I am NOT a Dermatologist...not even a little bit. I'm just a 48 year old who tests out a bunch of skin care products to see if anything works like it claims. So...that said, I'm not sure what the peeling could be from. Does it seem like your actual face skin or more like just balled up cream product? And...if it is still happening (sorry this reply is so late) and you are worried...you should for sure stop using all of the products. If you notice that your skin is red or irritated in any way, it might be a good idea to go to the doctor. You could very well be allergic to something in Loreal.

If both products contain retinol then you are overdoing it. Anybody with even remotely sensitive skin needs to go carefully with any retinol products.

If it contains Retinol its normal to peel alittle and skin can get flaky an red and alittle itchy ,just cut back alittle on the ones with it in it like if your usin it morning and night just use ir at night and after alittle while go back to doing it morning and night, Skin needs to get use to it cause lots are sensitive to that.Hope that helps "God bless all.love , huggs ,and the sweetest blessings and much more.

Sheri, I have been using olay retinol 24 for about a month and I swear my face is smoother and a little less lined around the eyes, I mean its not magic but its at least something..lol, it has 2 types of retinols so its pretty good and its $28 bucks, cheaper then alot of retinol products out there. I wonder what you would think of this moisturizer after a month or 2?......love you girl😘

The skin renewal cycle is 28 days ( 4 weeks). As skin gets older, you need at least 3 cycles of using a product to get full results. But, I advise you to try Rf or Hifu method to look younger. By the way, I love your channel.

Aourela Calderon - Actually...You're skin is probably still young and beautiful...so you might not need something that is going to fight the signs of aging (which is my target). But...I am currently testing a product called EpicOrganic and I super dig their Aloe Vera Based Moisturizer For Face And Body. Now...I don't think it has sunscreen in it. So if you are looking for something with SunScreen...I just got done testing No7 Skin Care and their day cream was pretty nice. I did use the Anti -Aging one, but I know they have a Lift & Luminate Day Cream with SPF 30 that might be perfect for you.
