This is amazing, the beat is like L getting closer to the truth, with the rising in intensity of the beat, it sounds tense, suspenseful, perfect for L. And the lyrics are awesome, the line "Death Draws Nearer Than You Know" is perfect because it's a double play line, it works for L, since Kira is literally closing in on him throughout the first half of the show, but then again it works for Kira also, since Near is coming to finish Kira off. L's death scene is one I've always appreciated for the lack of dialog but you added so much depth to what he probably was thinking in those final seconds. I wasn't ever a big fan of Death Note but this song has been in my daily rotation since it came out.
