The Hockenhorn near the Lötschepass is a relatively popular ascent that can be done from the Lötschenpass hut. Staying in the hut costs around 80 CHF incl. food.
We startet in the Gasterental, Hotel Steinbock and stayed one night in the hut on the Lötschenpass. Next day we ascended the Hockenhorn and descended to the other side of the ridge to Laucheralp.
