Dimash is just great, isn't he? He manages to lift people to heaven with just one vowel. He leaves me speechless every time I hear this song. And I love it when the drums come in. It's so unique. Igor Krutoy (the gentleman at the piano) composed this version of the Ave Maria at Dimash's request. Did you know that there are more than 100 versions of the Ave Maria? Now there is one more. Usually, Ave Maria is a prayer to the Holy Virgin Mary. In this case, however, it is a prayer for all people, no matter what religion they belong to. Besides that Dimash is a Muslim and Igor Kurtoy, who often accompanies him on the piano, is Jewish. That is why this Ave Maria has no lyrics, since it is not only sung for Christians. He sang this song on the New Wave in Sochi, Russia in 2021. This is an international contest for young performers founded by Igor Krutoy in 2002. Dimash sang here as a guest and was also a member of the jury. Igor Krutoy is a famous Russian-Ukrainian composer, producer and songwriter. His and Dimash's collaboration created true masterpieces. In the past, this singing technique in bel canto was often considered the ultimate test of a singer's singing ability. I have many Dimash songs that I consider favorites and I can't decide which one is better. However, I can say with certainty this one song is my absolute favorite song. Love Of Tired Swans. It wasn't until I started listening to Dimash that I realized how incredibly beautiful songs are in Russian. Unfortunately it is also a very difficult language, at least for me. Love Of Tired Swans is also a song written by Igor Krutoy, although Lara Fabian sang it for the first time. Dimash Qudaibergen performed with the vocalize "Ave Maria" at the final gala concert of the International Competition of Young Performers "New Wave-2021" in Sochi, Russia. The Muslim Dimash had asked the Jewish Igor Krutoy to write an Ave Maria for him with no words so that it could be a prayer for unity among all peoples. "Ave Maria" (ah-vay mah-ree-ah) ('Hail, Mary') is a Catholic prayer, written by many composers in many different melodies and styles over the centuries. This version was written by Igor, especially for Dimash and is a "vocalise" (a song without lyrics). There are no words, because Dimash is Muslim and Igor is Jewish, therefore this version is being seen as a "prayer for humanity". Absolutely beautiful! Another fine reaction. btw: Change the things you can change; accept the things you can't change; just figure out the difference and move on. Be true to yourself and to hell with the rest of it.

For inspiration, you could watch/listen to Dimash Digital Show version of Olympico -- it includes the English lyrics I don't think you activated in your Bastau reaction-- as well as PASSIONE (another Krutoy composition) and one of Dimash's most personal compositions (he also wrote the lyrics) OMIR, as an incredible music video and then the acoustic version he did with his younger brother, Mansur. This is a prayer to LIFE, and I think you might find it very healing in your own personal journey. Don't neglect your sixties/seventies artists,--you have great taste--but MORE DIMASH PLEASE for today and your future!

If I'm not mistaken, this “Ave Maria” by composer and conductor Igor Krutoy is a work in vocalize format, completely unpublished, although it seems to be a variation of the initial theme (not the introduction but the singing part) of the melody by Schubert adapted to Dimash's voice in order to explore just as three initial notes and changing the fourth note to a higher note (From B4, A4 D#4 C#4 and B4 to G#4, G4, G4, D#5): Like a leap from "dark to light" which is the same contrast as Dimash's outfit (from dark to light)! It also seems to refer to the Russian V. Vavilov's version of "Ave Maria" (wrongly credited to Caccine) and work by JS Bach - Prelude No. 1 in C major, BWV 846, with arrangements by Gounod, which Maetro Igor Krutoy has a predilection for!

You're quite right - Austrian composer Franz Schubert, died in 1828 at age 31 of Typhus. I don't know what search engine you're using that comes up with zilch😉. Although not intended as such, his Ave Maria became favourite church music. In Love is like a Dream, adapted for Dimash by Krutoy, there is a short, exquisite part where he sings Ave Maria, Ave amor.

The traditional Ave Maria /ˈa.ve maˈri.a/ means "All Hail Mary" and it is a prayer to Maria the mother of Jesus for the Catholic Church. It is not ONE song: many composers used that prayer as lyrics for their compositions Most people thought this would be the traditional prayer but this is not the Franz Schubert´s Ave Maria, on Bach/Gounod´s, or Michael Lorenc´s or Ave Maria di Caccini. I know them well because I used to play them when I studied to play the piano. His singing this being a muslim in a country where there are almost no Christians would be completely misunderstood.
