Unfortunately the judges do not matter in Indian Idol. The audience gets to vote which is a HUGE problem. The emotional story of the contestant often sway these votes. Last time, the 4 women in the finals were far better than Rishi who was voted as the winner.

Kavitaji is actually also a very accomplished and respected pure classical singer. I have seen her in a classical music concert with Pandit Jasraj where she was amazing and was able to match his performance. I feel that she deserves to get a lot more credit from the Industry than she gets. She received a Padma Shri but I was surprised that she did not get a single National Award.

Season 13 final was one of the worst I have seen in a singing competition. Pls keep it simple and focus on singing and not on all other nonsense stuff. We want to listen to the divine vocal gifts of these contestants

Kavitha krishnamurthy is very apt for being the judge . perfect person for the position..it will be good if they remove neha kakkar , she might be popular by " some Bollywood standard" but honestly she is not a good singer nor does she have knowledge of music
