There is a big difference between someone playing the piano and making music, and someone who abandon's himself to the music and the piano. Its easy to see you are one with the music. The audience knows it, they are enthralled with what is happening.

Unbiased view here cause I don’t know anything about classic or end music but I feel like the original conveys different types of emotions whereas the remix is just head banging.

Well liszt was the rockstar of his day and probably did the same thing with his piece. It is an arrangement of another piece from paganini. I don’t know much but maybe Liszt was just having fun arranging it?

@@freddiethegreat Yeah the original la campanella was very swaggy and sassy, Liszt's rendition felt far more elegant, euphoric, and almost like falling down a cliff and gradually going faster and faster. This one elicits an even different emotion still! I like the compounded difference in interpretation and playing with the piece, this is how music grows.

For someone who's never done it, how would you recommend learning it? I was thinking that just playing it slow and building up speed over time would be a good method?

@@anon_y_mousse you'll need like 15 years of piano training first, lmao. It's a very hard piece and if you're not experienced you can legitimately tear things and cause nerve damage.

Denver Colorado would loveeee to see something like this🙌very different and cool. I’ve never seen something like it before classical style mixed with EDM but it’s litterally AMAZING!!🎹 I think a younger crowd would also love this:)

It was nothing to rave about! Liszt's Campanella is just perfect as it is and was butchered by some technical agility finger exercises! It sounds like one doesn't understand the piece!

I've been to BAD concerts before! It is not uncommon ... Good technique, but Liszt did a perfect job with Paganini's piece and it stays that way! All the other attempts are just bad imitations!

@@aclutchboy5389 Because it is an opinion and this is not a sycophants group! I am sure the pianist will appreciate an honest opinion ... His remix is just a good finger exercise with no other value except improve the agility of the finger. Liszt's Campanella is just PERFECT and it stands as Liszt wrote it grace to Paganini for the challenge...
