It is an icon of the city, since it represents a large part of its history, formerly it had the name of brigantia lighthouse, this was until the 20th century.
Today it is the oldest working Roman tower and lighthouse in the world.
It has a height of 55 meters and is the third highest in Spain after the CHIPIONA lighthouse of 62 meters and maspalomas of 60 meters.
In 2009 it was recognized as a World Heritage Site by the onezco
Entering the tower, we can go up to the chasm, climbing its 234 steps to observe a large part of the city from there.

It is another of the places that you must visit, it is located very close to the tower of hercules and next to one of its beaches. The entrance has a cost of 10 euros and if you are under 16 or over 65 you will only pay 4 euros.
Starting this tour of the aquarium we are going to see different types of fish, rays and even a huge shark.
