I’m back here after hearing Maple passed away. I can feel my chest getting heavy as I type this. I grew up watching this channel and I always loved seeing Trench and Maple be by each others’ sides. It breaks my heart knowing that she’s gone now, and I can’t even imagine the pain Trench is going through now. But if anything brings me comfort, it’s knowing that I get to come back to videos like this and be happy knowing that she existed, as well as knowing that she will always be present in the memories we have of her. Sorry if this seems like rambling, it’s just such a massive hit to the heart that I didn’t expect to be feeling. We love you Maple

For me LALALAND is about saying goodbye. At the end, Mia accepts that she couldn't have Sebastian and her career at the same time, so she just looks at him and accepts they are going on different paths. The fact that Maple passed away makes this video sad, but also very poethic. You and her are going on different paths. Like Mia and Sebastian. But I know...somewhere there's a Seb's where you will both meet. I also lost my dog this year :/

I see a lot of people liking the La La land ending a lot, but for me it’s where the movie somewhat falls apart. I think the two should’ve valued each other over their careers. It almost ended the movie on a selfish note for me. I’ve heard people say if they ended up together it would be too cliché, but the entire movie had been cliché up to that point and I think I would’ve preferred a charming love story. I like a good bittersweet ending, but this wasn’t the place for it.

My mom loved listening and watching maple when she was in the ICU recovering from her lung transplant. She passed away last Friday but this memory will stay with me forever So thank you.

One of my favorite things about these videos is how Maple always seemed to know when the song was about to end, cause she would look up or wag her tail. I assume she caught on from previous takes, like “ooo yes this part means I’m about to get head scratches.” Unbelievably cute. She will be missed.

I came back to this video after hearing that Maple had passed away. This was the video that introduced me to the channel, I found it shortly after watching La La Land for the first time. As soon as I noticed Maple in the video, I instantly subscribed. You can never go wrong with good music and a cute dog. I'm sorry for your loss, she will be missed.

I'm surprised no one has commented on the fact that this man was playing a guitar- which takes a good bit of finger dexterity- while it was snowing, and therefore freezing outside. I know when my fingers get cold, I have a hard time holding a pencil, much less /plucking the strings of an instrument and playing a beautiful song/.

Lol, sorry to tell you that he records the audio separately from the video. Even non-musicians should be able to recognize a clearly in-room sounds in contrast to a poor, weak ambient noise that would've turned out to be out there in the snow.

No one knows how long the man has been playing for but some say it's been centuries. Then, suddenly, the music fell silent and the winds howled and the trees cracked in agony and a death fell over the forest. Not a sound from the forest has been heard since that day over 10 years ago. That is until an over zealous teenager with a talent for music took to the forest to try to reason with the spirits.
