La Mangave was written by Jo Privat and is a lovely example of French musette waltzes. This tune and hundreds more are available through Patreon / accordion_lovers My book "Accordion for Beginners" also available through Patreon.

Absolutely wonderful. The accordion is such an underappreciated instrument.

I am just learning accordion and recently got the music to this song. Your video is greatly helping me learn since I have to teach myself. (No teachers around here in the US.) Could you tell me the model of the accordion you are playing! I really like the sound of the musette tuning!

I am a hobbyist acordion player.Retired engineer.My experience is that Hohner Verdi3 Verdi5 Atlantic4 are the best instruments in quality maitenance and tuning.The tremolo or the musette is technically perfect and best.

@pijnscheut Hi, Thanks for your encouragement. There are 6 volumes entitled "Musette" subtitled Recuil de 110 succes. published by beuscher. I found volume 1 the most rewarding

To some extent it's Verdi 3 accordion which is the most perfect musically.India.

where do you find your sheet music..
@squeezydoesit11 жыл бұрын
Hello Rachel, No teachers in USA? surely not. If you are stuck do try a session with me on Skype. The accordion is a Hohner Verdi 96 bass from around 1980 I believe.
@thorn3244 жыл бұрын
Er, don't you mean an 80 bass (5 x 16 = 80)? There's no column of diminished chords.

Have you still got this accordion??
@squeezydoesit4 жыл бұрын
No, it was a nice accordion as your ears are telling you. Still got the beret though.
