We saw this last night. She does have a lovely voice, although not particularly outstanding. He had a very thin voice, and always appeared to be straining, especially with his forced, unnaturally loud high notes. He almost seemed injured and in pain some way. The other couple did a nice job with their parts. Ravishing music! Orchestra and conductor did a fine job with it. Nice production

They both have beautiful voices that actually have potential to become great. I find that a lot of singers when reach certain level of fame just stop working on advancing their skills, become careless and sloppy and quickly loose the original adoring quality, for example Netrebko, she could have been great, but didn't want to work, it showed... I just hope these two will be more careful and thoughtful. BTW, the supporting singers Bekhzod Davronov and Emily Pogorelc were VERY good too, will be watching them as well.
