I've been there. A very cool use for that old building. Not as many options as some of the larger food halls that have popped up throughout SoCal, but certainly a nice addition to that part of San Gabriel.

Curious to know why you didn’t hit the Caribbean restaurant there. Mexican and burger spots are common. Caribbean spots are gems.

Give me the Vietnamese food! Mexican is great too. Oysters are OK fried, but raw they are boogers on the half shell. I guess I am a food wimp... as for chitlins... fuggedaboutit.

If you liked the brisket pho then you should check out Pisces Poke and Ramen. It has ramen with brisket and there the smokiness works with the rich broth.
