I have seen "La Traviata" many, many times all over the world but I have never seen anyone better in this scene. I was stunned by the performance.

I have not 'seen' one better but I've heard one better. Listen to a 1935 recording of this piece by the great but under appreciated Claudia Muzio. It is stunning and heartbreaking.

Indeed, but it is very sad to see her in the deplorable production of the opéra de Paris wearing a jogging and sweat shirt, she deserves so much better 😢

Artista absoluta. Lo tiene todo, canta con una profundidad y extensión sublimes, maneja todos los matices, tiene un color vocal de belleza infinita, posee una escena impactante y una preciosidad natural. If I didn't know what was going on with the character, I would have thought that she was just depressed... This is opera folks and this is a great voice! The Metropolitan Opera house is huge.A voice has to be able to be heard in the Family Circle!
