Who does the costumes in Glyndebourne, because they usually have beautiful designs, my favourite is from Giulio Cesare, and this dress looks similar.

yes... but everything else outside of a few (flat) pitch issues... she was pretty dang good... the vibrato wasn't painfully bad like most young singers today... she had NO HORRIBLE edge... NOR was she overly dark and cover.ed.. I thought she was rather good... and scoops fit this style of music... Puccini even better... not in Bach... or Handel thank you very much!

Highinsight7 Actually scooping is not good for this music. This is Verdi. Doing schwung is acceptable but not scooping. For Verdi it Puccini. There are much better ways of being expressive.
