Жыл бұрынA movement of conclusion from one of our two weekly verdadera destreza classes (one Thibault, one Pacheco and Viedma.
Our current classes in the academy are
Vulgar or common destreza, focusing on the sidesword
Paired weapons (a weapon of defensive tool in each hand)
Smallsword (Roux method)
Girard Thibault Verdadera Destreza
Mixed weapons (axes, polearms, dussack, daggers, sickles, mayhem)
Longsword Fundamentals (A foundation in technique and terminology used across the academy)
Longsword Intermediate (introduction to paired work, pressure and form)
Lexicon longsword (Thursday and Friday, deep dives into plays and principle)
La Verdadera Destreza (Pacheco, Viedma and others

How do you fight a taller fencer?, I'm not short, I'm 188 centimeters, but often struggle against people much taller than me

Being aware of their reach and with out the delusion that being shorter helps:)

Rob Childs recommends going for their hand or leg. They may have more reach, but they still need to extend their arm and advance to hit you 😅
