Hard to believe it's been five years since we attended the La Verne Cool Cruise for the first time. Since our first time attending in 2014, it has always been one of the highlight shows of the year, with a wide variety of classic cars, hot rods, and street rods from around the San Gabriel Valley. The show is hosted by Cal-Rods, and about 350 cars take to the streets surrounding Old Town La Verne and the University of La Verne in the annual Cool Cruise, always held the day before Easter Sunday. Luckily for us the show organizers changed the way the cars lined up to get into the show. In previous years cars might come into the show in one long single file line, or they might start rolling in before we arrived. This year, however, there were three long lines to get into the show, and we got a majority of the show cars rolling in. Combined with perfect weather, this made for one of the most memorable La Verne Cool Cruise's we have been to!
