I actually played this twice and really break the enemy! with 1 pip implacable you can even engage and hit a unit in the first round. With the 3pip master of evil you can throw supression bomb into a big part of enemy force in round 1 (if you add some supressive weapons to that mix as bossk or mortairs is a great play)

Thanks for the video. I think you're undervaluing Hound and Grizzer. 4 observation tokens is the equivalent of adding an an Aim token plus Precise 2 with the added benefit that if not used those missed attack dice can be re-rolled by any unit firing on that same target for the rest of the round. Hound and Grizzer are my go to for Clones in the LAAT. Great way to get R2 to score that victory token.

Just clarification, for the high-energy shells, the LAAT/LE would only benefit from the high-velocity keyword if only the high-energy shells were used in the attack pool without the main weapon. Both weapons need to have the keyword for high-energy shells, so you would not gain the high-velocity trait unless you shot the shells by themselves. It's a toss-up for taking it since you still get critical 1 and 3 dice (2 of which are red's) added to the main weapon for 8 points, but missing out on the main keyword of the upgrade makes it seem that you'd be better off taking the ap shells, or just nothing at all and use those extra points shave your bid. Love your content man.

I remodeled this to look more like a Huey helicopter and played fortunate son on loop while playing a freind on a kashyyk themed board

I like Pyrce. If she is transporting Snow troopers with flamer and frag grenades with an officer upgrade then they throw 5 red dice and however many black dice as your target has troopers with an aim token on the turn you deploy them from the LAAT. The suppression doesn't hinder them as the officer gives them 2 courage. And usually if you shoot with steady on the turn they disembark you can use the second action for a dodge. Giving them cover 1 and dodge with aim and usually 6 black and 5 red dice with blast to ignore cover and surge to crit with frag grenades. As well as whatever pyrce can shoot with. Very ouch

I think for me HQ uplink is an auto include alongside Rudor and ordinance.

LAATs dont turn around. They just fly backwards. ;)

Ryder azzai in aa5 might give the imperial tie pilot a run for its money on farthest movment but i haven't measured it out

I think Reckless Driver with an Unstable Astromech may have the most impressive distance. 4 moves in 1 turn.

LAAT + ARCs for objective capping? Seems really expensive and the ARCs wouldn’t benefit from token sharing.

LAAT/LE and ARCs would be more of a target elimination strategy. Drop in behind enemy lines and use those pistols to clear enemies out. For an objective id probably throw down a squad with a Z6 or DC-15.

If Rex increases the range of some clones using grenades can they then use the grenades on the laat?

Yes. Had people use clankers on an airspeeder (which has more or less the same qualities) with grenades and it is painful

can some one tell me the point of cover if crits would hit through it anyways?

Impact converts hits to crits after cover is applied, so Cover 1 can effectively negate 1 hit that would be turned into a critical by impact. That’s a vague summary but look into the “modify dice” steps. That’s where the magic happens
