I’m 2 minutes in and the nurse/doctor seems so kind empathetic and encouraging. Usually watching these vlogs the nurses are kind of just passive-aggressively barking orders. I cried 😢 congratulations so happy for you! 🎉

One of the biggest advise I can give for being home alone with baby, is if you ever get frustrated it’s 1000% OKAY to put baby down in a crib and walk away to regroup yourself!!!!! You will eventually learn what works for you and baby, but until then everything is a learning experience 🥰 babies don’t come with a manual book so do the best you can!! You’re an amazing mama already ❤️❤️

I second this!!!! 100% my baby is 5 months now. As long as they are fed and changed, walk away when you need, it’s better than reaching your limit!

I wish I would have been told this more as a new mom! I had severe PPD & I desperately needed breaks away from baby to breathe, cry, eat, etc… When you feel overwhelmed it is better to swaddle baby & put him in the crib, shut the door, walk to a different room, & take 5 min to breathe. Baby is ok & mama needs a break.

Being a woman takes an unimaginable amount of courage every single day. I love how we all as women continue to support each other and uplift each other because it's really not easy. You're such an amazing mother, I'm sure you're feeling fulfilled with your precious baby! Don't feel guilty for wanting to take care of yourself as well (I constantly remind myself that a baby can't take care of me, I have to take care of me) !!!! Ugh I want babies but childbirth is such a big deal, the physical pain, the emotions, a whole human to take care of for years and years.. I don't know why people act like its not that serious, it is!

Congrats!!! As a mom to a soon to be 35 and 30 yr olds, if you haven’t already, the biggest thing to help you is to get into a routine. Nap when he is napping will help you stay energized. Ugh seeing this video melts my heart 🥹 Aziz is soooo cute!!! 😍 as a first time mom myself (my baby is 6 months old now), having all of these vids and pics to look back at is so special 🫶🏼 you are doing so great I can already tell. My advice for staying home with baby by yourself is to not overthink (you know your baby best) and to not try to take on more than you can at the moment (laundry, dishes, cleaning etc) sometimes you can’t get everything done and it can feel overwhelming but don’t stress it, as long as you are tending to your baby and making sure they are happy and healthy then the laundry and mess can wait. It’s not the end of the world if you don’t finish all of your tasks, your baby needs you and that is what’s important, especially in the first few months. So much love and blessings to you guys! 🫶🏼🫶🏼💞💞

Gahh this brings back so many memories. You did amazing Christina and I’m sure you’re an incredible mom. As a mom of a 7 month old who recently went through all of this, I was very nervous to take care of my baby all alone!! One thing that helped me was just to realize my ONE job was to take care of my baby and keep her alive each day. I needed to realize in the early days It was ok if I stayed in pajamas all day, or it was ok if the house didn’t get cleaned. Have some grace with yourself and know that it’s ok to just make him the main priority right now. It will get better and easier in just a short amount of time and soon you’ll be running around doing laundry and dishes and taking him to run errands all by yourself.

He’s perfect, congratulations! 💙 I cried SO hard watching this. Thank you for letting us THIS far into your life & pregnancy journey. My advice to you, as a mama of two (almost 8 & 11) would honestly be what the elders tell you…when the baby sleeps, you sleep. I know how you are when it comes to cleaning and taking care of your house, which is amazing and you should, but listen to your body too. You’re more tired now than you’ve ever been and this time with your baby, is so incredibly precious and it will fly. As my fiancé’s Grandma always said “The dishes can wait”. All the love Tina❣️

This gives me so much throwback to my first born too watching this! Thank you so much for sharing your experience at this vulnerable state of motherhood. I definitely had that struggle too pushing and breathing!! I wished I had learned to practice that before labor. But honestly the 2nd time around giving birth is SUPER FAST! Your body will know what to do the next round. Enjoy yourself & your little family! 🎉 Congratulations 🎉 Time goes by soooo fast. Take it easy one day at a time. Hormones are going to still be crazy at times so don’t feel bad at all. They say that your body won’t go back to normal until after one year or so depending. You will do good alone when the time comes! Don’t stress about it. As long you have a good routine for yourself & baby you’re good.

This was so surreal. I feel like you were just pregnant! Instant baby fever and I have two already lol you both are doing amazing. I felt overwhelmed the first month or two and then things started to fall into place. When your boyfriend goes back to work, watch your favorite shows while taking care of him. Remember, he WILL cry and it’s okay. Don’t let it stress you. I struggled with that. You are already doing absolutely amazing ❤ thank you for sharing

Congrats on your sweet little boy. You and your partner make a great team! Becoming a mom changed me. I didn’t have the baby blues, but I was super anxious and grumpy. Listen to your intuition. You know your baby best. Be kind to yourself and your partner. You are in this together but don’t forget to take care of yourself first. Therapy was so helpful! Becoming a parent is a huge change. My husband and I have been married for 16 years and our kids are now ages 10 and 11. We wouldn’t have survived those early years without some professional help. Wishing you all the best! YOU GOT THIS MAMA!You and baby Aziz are both growing and learning from each other. Children are our greatest teachers.

Im a nursing student who wants to do labor and delivery. I think the most important thing to know is that you may feel nervous, but your body knows what to do. And for anything you feel unsure about don't be nervous to ask health care providers and birth workers for help :). Good job Cristina. Been watching you since the money count days and it's so cool and full circle to see your growth. you are seriously a force. dont ever stop!!! :)

I can’t even put into words how happy for you guys! You both did amazing during labor and delivery and are right on track with his first month milestones! As far as being alone for the first, if you haven’t already gotten to that point yet, just try to get in as much rest before then as you can. Once you’re in the moment, just always remember to sleep when he does and keep yourself well fed and hydrated. He took a lot from and out of you because he needed both his and your strength during his growth inside of you and during his arrival. So your body is working overtime to get you back to normal. Always keep your phone with you in case of emergencies and to simply socialize and whenever you’re feeling down or overwhelmed! Everything you’ve gone through and going through is absolutely normal! I’m sure many of the suggestions and advice you receive is probably things you already know but there’s a lot that new mothers can forget because there’s a lot going on and are caring for a new, tiny and fragile human being who is 100% dependent on you! So take care of YOU as well as baby Aziz! Love you guys and pray for nothing but all the wonderful things motherhood/parenthood brings you!!❤️💙💙

Advice for being alone- I was going through the same thing, take a deep breath and tell your self you got this!!! You’re a great mom and just get things prepared helped me ( bottles ready, burp cloths around etc)… also if baby is crying alot and you feel like it’s overwhelming just put them down in the crib for a quick minute while you ground yourself in the other room and then start again!!

I'm proud of how you handled the labor & delivery. As a mom of 2 boys it does get scary being alone with them after your support system goes back to work etc... but I'm here to tell your your natural mother instincts will automatically kick in & you'll know what to do. Then you'll be able to do it blindfold because you'll be so used to it. Trust me. You got this Cristina❤ Xo

I was scared of being alone with my baby as well. Having a routine really helped me because it gave me a sense of control and something to look forward to since I didn’t know what to expect with my baby ( as I was getting to know him) I would wake up , feed him, change him, read to him, and spending time outdoors was really helpful even if it was just my backyard. As I felt more comfortable I started taking my baby on walks when I started feeling overwhelmed.

The video I’ve been waiting for. He is such a cutie and congrats on being a new mommy. I myself became a first time mom 6 months ago. Trust me it gets easier. I went threw little PPD but getting back to feeling my old self a little bit helped me a lot. As a recommendation because I am still learning try to implement a sleeping, feed and wake time schedule. Very important for babies to distinguish day from night. My baby started sleeping threw the night by 3 months. Best believe the first 3 months were tough and sleepless nights were getting to me. Open up your curtains and have noise during the day so he can start to recognize. Keep his wake times for 45min to an 1hr and towards night time don’t let him nap as much. They’ll start waking up when it’s time for feeding instead of you wake him up every 2-3 hours. Breastfeeding isn’t easy. I had the same mind set of trying to breastfeed but it was hard for my baby to latch and my milk supply wasn’t coming in and wasn’t going to be enough to fill her up. Pumping every 2-3 hours wasn’t working for me either. For my mental health and well being it was hard but I definitely transitioned to formula feeding. A feed baby is a happy baby and that is all that matters. ❤

Our families were there right away for about a week. Then everyone went back home, different states, and it was just us. Newlywed, young and with a baby. You're such a beautiful human being and have great support you're going to be an incredible mom, you already are gurl 😉. You've got this & thank you for sharing him with us. Just remember that you’re his mommy and even though it is all new it will come natural more and more. I shed a tear watching this. So, so beautiful. I also had my first baby, a sweet little boy, on 11th April, he’ll be one month tomorrow. (I was also induced with Pitocin and it was crazy intense, but since the whole thing only lasted 4 hours I didn’t have time for an epidural by the time the anesthesiologist came it was time to push.) BTW I remember I watched your pregnancy announcement and at that time I didn’t know I myself was pregnant (I found out late, at 17 weeks). It’s crazy how time flies. Now we both have little Aries boys (lol Lord help us). As for being alone with the baby, I totally get it. My husband is currently overseas, and my mom and sister trade off spending the night/days with me. Whenever they leave me alone for awhile something that helps me is to put a baby lounger in the bathroom (I use Baby Bjorn) so I don’t have to hold him while I’m on the toilet. Also I use that in the kitchen when I’m quickly throwing a meal together. He can be in there for about ten minutes at least lol before he gets fussy. Another tip for being a lone with him is make a list of things to do when he goes down for a nap during the day. One of things to do can always be sleep! Anyways I loved seeing this ❤ and also loved to see your husband be so into it. You can tell he loves being a father. Also Aziz has your eyes I think. He’s so precious ❤

Also Some idea for future videos- what you actually used from your baby shower/registry. Like mom/baby must haves for first month post partum. For me I had tears/stitches so all the care for my chacha like mom frida ice packs and mom frida spray bottle and antibacterial dermaplast was a must. The first two weeks were rough bc of that, luckily all healed now 🙈

Awh Tina so happy for you and your little family 🥲 I’m on my second baby and what I recommend is doing SnS where it’s formula and breastfeeding and power pumping if you really wanna do breastfeeding it’s honestly the best, the bond is amazing! But if it doesn’t work out remember as long as baby is fed! Sending you a huge hug, love you ❤️

Ah he’s finally here!! I’m so proud of you Christina! It was a very touching video, took me 11 years back when I had my son 💕 you did way better than me, great job! As for advice don’t worry, you have everything you need. Your mom is there so just make sure you date your boyfriend so you keep growing your relationship. Baby takes a lot of energy from the parents and sometimes they can forget about themselves. All the best beautiful! You got this! ❤

Congratulations! He is adorable! Thank you for being so real and open about the emotions that come with this big transition. The only advice I'd give (because you asked lol) is firstly, don't be too hard on yourself or try to do everything. Meeting your needs and baby's needs is first and foremost before cleaning or cooking. Also, if he likes the carrier, sometimes wearing him around the house is an easier way to multitask. But most importantly, trust your instincts, be patient with yourself and enjoy him❤ you got this.

Omg! I’ve been watching you since the beginning & I was in tears!! I also had a baby in January 6 2023 with my second!! Some advice I can give you…..KEEP ON BREASTFEEDING!! I was engorged so I also was doing half breast milk and half formula and I too was experiencing “baby blues” but as soon as I got over being engorged, I immediately went back to breastfeeding full time and the baby blues went completely away!! It’s vital you bond with your baby when they’re first born because it not only is so much better/healthier for the baby but for yourself as well!!! There’s something so satisfying knowing your giving your baby the absolute best when feeding him & the thoughts seemed to go away because It was something only “I” could give my baby!! you’re gonna be a great mother and I’m so happy for you and your guys new baby!! You’re truly blessed!!!

Congrats on being a new mommy! I have a 1 and 3 year old. My advice to all my new mom friends is sleep when baby sleeps. As long as you have diapers and clean bottles everything else can wait to be cleaned up. When you need a break, ask for help from your support people. Becoming a mommy is a hugeeeee life change that no one really talks about. You go from getting up and doing whatever you want to now having a precious life that depends on you 1000% of the time. Its okay to miss your old life. Just because you miss that time doesn't make you a bad mom. We are humans. Remember everything about your body is changed and will never be the same. But i learned its okay to miss the old me. I learned that it takes time to adjust to this new life. Give yourself grace. Everything will be okay🩷

Oh that first baby cry gets me every time! 🥺🥺🥺You will be just fine with him alone when the time comes, you were born to be his mommy!!! My biggest tip tho is postpartum anxiety is real, I had it after my daughter so if you need to reach out to a doctor, do not be shy! People always talk about postpartum depression and not anxiety as much so I didn’t even know it was a thing until I had it. Welcome to motherhood Christina!!! It’s the best thing you will ever experience!!!! ❤❤❤

Your a natural you'll be perfectly fine alone with him. He knows you more then anyone he smells you and knows when mom is near and not near. Breastfeeding was hard for me too but you feed him then pump what's left even if it's just a little your stimulating your body to make more milk. Stay stress free or you'll find it hard to make more milk. I found Pumping Princess to help with Body armor w/coconut water mixed aside from a lot alot of water. Don't take anything with fenugreek cause it tends to make you and baby gassy. Lol Your doing an amazing job Cristina no worries love you will always and forever be learning him for the rest of his life even when he act like he's grown he's still your forever baby and will be learning from him and vice versa. Trust me my oldest son Noah will be turning 18 this year and I just had my last baby girl not even 3 months ago and I'm still learning gf don't be hard on yourself. God Bless You and your beautiful family.
