There have been more than 60 deaths on our roads so far this year.
That marks an increase in lives lost, and families devastated. Those figures exclude those who are otherwise injured or maimed in an accident.
Clearly, we need more policing and enforcement. But also, we need evidence-based policies and planning to improve road safety.
