Patta machang,, these videos have natural value to all Sri Lankan,, knowledge in our own language,, I am in New York,, I was reading many book to understand these divered, u explained it Nicely,, please keep doing these kind videos ,, simple circuit design with explanations is very important,, just soldering someones circuit does not mean to us ,, if we do we should lean what happens inside,, like u explained here ,,, I love this video

That’s not using a flyback topology rather it looks to me like a two switch forward converter. The capacitors in series allows for voltage doubling via a switch (for 110V input). It has the added benefit of reducing the stress on the capacitors because each capacitor only sees half of the rectified mains when used with a 230V input.
